Firefox OS is an open-source operating system designed for smartphones, tablets, and televisions developed by Mozilla. Mozilla is a non-profit organization that also developed the Firefox web browser. The main goal of the Firefox OS is to provide an open-source alternative to the major prevalent smartphone operating systems currently on the market.
