As stated in the title. The best device I've ever owned.
the processor is quiet fast...no lagging..i can even edit picture with using it...it has excelent stereo bass sound!!
Windows Phone Mango is a great software and according to a Harvard research, the easiest to use. In addition, its the software with the best Social Network Integration which is essential since we all live in what is called Socialnomics. The Nokia Hardware makes it stylish and classy and a great phone
By far the best phone I have used. Cannot go back to small screen phones. Have used an iPhone, Motorola and Nokia but this phone tops my list! Incredible high res screen brilliant viewing of web pages, email, presentations. I dont need a laptop anymore! Battery life is superb! It lasts me 4 days! No issue with portability fits in pocket nicely! I would recommend this phone to any person on the go!
Super fast and intelligent. Most amazing screen you can look at.
The 3D capability is stellar, and a nice feature with a nice qHD display. I like the industrial design. The ruining features of the phone are the battery life and semi ok call quality.
hd cam 1080p , +300000 apps *free*, excellent screen, big display....
This is my third smartphone and its a great phone. The number one best feature about this phone is the battery life. I am still in awe at how long I can use this device with out worrying about plugging it in. I would probably be considered a light to moderate user and I end most days with 50% battery life left.
Call quality is great both with bluetooth and without. Its very fast and meets all my needs. I can see myself being beyond happy with this phone for a very long time!
Awesome overall specs and build design. Very fast 4g , not to mention upcoming update to either 3.6 sense or ICS 4.0 Tough phone to beat !
For me it is neither a smartphone nor a tablet and sits right in the middle of these two devices. The Samsung Galaxy Note uses Android technology, feels light to hold, and has a 5.3? screen size. It is worth stressing that it is very light to hold and weighs much less than a standard tablet. On first look the screen is bright and very easy to see.
It is also thin with an 8 Mp camera on the back and a 2 Mp camera on the front which is great for Video Chat. It also comes with its own stylus Which they call an S-Pen.. It probably seems strange that Samsung have introduced the stylus again, but it works well and is accurate to work with. It is perfect for those who like a big screen and with the stylus feature it makes taking notes, writing shopping lists etc a very easy thing to do.
Amazing software packed with Nokia's beautiful and sturdy hardware make this the phone to get. The one complaint I ever had with this phone was with battery life, but with a recent update, I can go for over 2 full days without a charge. Something very few smart phones can say. Windows Phone OS is absolutely elegant. If you haven't tried this device, you need to. WARNING: When you start to use this device, you're only going to like it more and more!
Now I might not have a lot to compare it to previously owning an eris storm and a og iphone but this is definitely the best phone I have owned. this phone is a tank, dropped it on pavement twice (screen down) as well as falling on top of it teleboarding (slalom water skiing on snow). it has withheld all of it and runs fine. the battery is a bit week but it does get me through a day (I'm am a light to moderate user). The motorola webtop application is really useful for browsing the web on your tv but I have had problems with it, for instance when I first plug it in and go to do anything on it 7/10 times it will shut down and restart the phone which is annoying but other then that I have no problems with it. it runs smooth and the lte and connectivity in general is great. Also if you are a music buff this is a very good option, the audio that comes through the jack and speaker is crisp, and it produces the best audio(through the headphone jack) then any other device i have owned or used and includes the htc Rezound with beats audio. great phone and now just waiting fo ICS!
Love the phone especially stock Android, but I wish it had better battery life and had a metal casing instead of plastic.
Are you looking to switch to Virgin Mobile? Are you a customer looking for an upgrade? Whatever your whereabouts in the world of Android, here's a little something to consider.
The LG Optimus Slider is one of the newest additions to Virgin Mobile and could be considered an upgraded Optimus V. But unlike the Optimus V, the Slider comes with a slide out QWERTY keyboard and an 800 mhz CPU (the V has an overclockable 600 mhz CPU). Is it worth $200 to upgrade to the Slider from your perfectly good Optimus V or aging Intercept? Check out this review to find out!
DESIGN AND FEATURES
The Optimus Slider has four physical buttons on the front (home, menu, back, and search) and has a 3.2-inch screen with a display of 240 x 480 pixels, which is absolutely fine for its size and on par with other mid-range devices.
The top is slightly curved with the power button on the left. Sometimes when typing on the Slider I accidentally hit the power button, so I'd say that the power button isn't placed in a great spot. On the left side is a micro USB charging port and a volume rocker and on the left is a camera button. The bottom is absent of any ports.
I found the slide out QWERTY to be very nice with its slightly raised plastic buttons. It may take some time to get used to, but when you start to use it more and more you won't even notice it. The keyboard has red accents to match Virgin Mobile's colors and the keys do light up.
The Slider has a sub par camera at 3.2 megapixels. It does have auto-focus, but that's all I can say that's the tiniest bit notable about it, so make sure to have your camera with you when you want to capture something to remember.
USABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
The LG Optimus Slider is a low to mid range device so don't expect much of multitasking. I do, however, think it is fast enough for someone who just uses it on a day-to-day basis with no huge apps or excessive media.
The Slider's battery life is terrible. It's one of my biggest regrets in buying this phone and it's inexcusable considering the LG Optimus V's battery life. If you do choose to buy this phone I would recommend turning the brightness down and having a spare battery or charger with you to get through a busy day.
The Slider runs on Android 2.3 which could be considered an upgrade in itself from the V. Thankfully it has no manufacturer bloat so you'll be running Vanilla Android. It does have Virgin Mobile and Google bloatware that cannot be removed unless you root it and void your warranty.
CONCLUSION
The Optimus Slider is a worthy addition to Virgin Mobile, but its battery life is one of the few things holding it down. Overall, I think it's great if you are upgrading from an Intercept or moving to Virgin Mobile all together, but I don't think it's worth it if you already own an Optimus V and do not absolutely need a physical keyboard.
After having an loving the thunderbolt I just couldn't get used to the bugs it had. So I made the switch and WOW the Rezound Rocks
The Exynos makes this the smoothest Android phone ever. Though the display is a bit low res, I couldn't dock it any points because of how absolutely GORGEOUS it is. In terms of colors I think it beats the GNex. Everything about it, size, camera, TouchWiz, is incredible.
