The iPhone 5 is a great phone. It's uberly easy to use and intuitive all the way from dialing a call to downloading one of the hundreds of thousands of apps. The ecosystem is phenomenal... I'm not going to knock android... Yes I am... I've had every major android phone from the hero to the gs2, gs3 one x etc.. And the App Store with apple puts all the crapware found in the android App Store to shame. I'm not saying all of androids apps are crap but the ratio vs iOS is tremendous.
The battery life on the iPhone can't be touched unless your using the droid razer or an older blackberry keeping me on my phone longer than I should.
The display is fantastic... Colors pop and brightness is excellent even out in the sun. It's not hd, however you wouldn't be able to tell if held next to let's say the one x.
The only knock I have on this phone is the design. It's not that bad and I do love the black apple on the back... But the design is too reminiscent of the 4 and 4s. A little more change could have been done like say the 3GS to the 4.
All around great phone easy to use from the beginner to the old timer.
Jelly Bean is so smooth and stable on this phone. Leaving out all the Samsung rubbish gives you a true Android experience. S3 is powerful but clunky. Only beat down on this phone is if you are heavy gamer and the camera is not as great.
Even though maps has some problems anything else on this phone works perfect ESPECIALY panorama! I sadly have not been able to buy it myself but my father has it and I have used it many many times! I would be proud to call this my phone!
Worst customer service ever! Had a service issue (couldn't dial or receive calls) and called customer service. I was transferred 8 times over the course of 2 hours, repeated the same story to 8 different people, entered in code after code, only to be told that the phone didn't work. So as not to lose the minutes on my phone, I purchased another Net10 phone and spent an additional hour in customer service hell trying to activate the phone and transfer the number over. Oh and the bad SMS card that they said I had when I couldn't dial out on the new phone? Uh-uh. The card wasn't in the phone all the way. The reps don't know what they are doing and only seem to want to keep you on the phone hoping you'll get fed up and hang up.
I purchased a Samsung GS3. Loved that phone. After testing, rooting and customization, I discovered that the HTC EVO 4g had faster Overclocking ability. I traded with my friend. Now I have the HTC EVO 4g. I like the looks of the GS3, but I am performance oriented.
The phone does everything you want and does it well. I have used many phones in my life including the nokia n95 8gb, nokia n8, xperia arc, xperia arc s, Huawei P1, galaxy nexus, galaxy s2, nokia lumia 900, galaxy s2 and galaxy s3!
When you use the gs3 you fell like nothing is left out. You can add storage via a micro sd card, change the battery because the back comes off, and lastly the interface has some much appreciated features such as burst shot, hdr, pop up play etc etc.
Personally i feel Nature UX is better than vanilla android-Thats just me.
Super Fast phone super display, super gps look.
overwhelmed by the device's responsiveness.. excellent in performance but not much in battery performance
it´s just the best phone out there, not even the iPhone 5 has a change!!!!
display is good for GSIII it's super amoled display with an 306 ppi form factor is quite not good for me that's for me only it looks quite big i definitely like the rectangle shape like iphone and LG optimus 4x HD battery life i think it's not futere proof over the years to come
I gived a 5 for every single one because this phone is amazing!
I bought S3 as an another phone to my previous experiences collection. It used to be many models from Nokia and iPhone 4. No phone from mentioned did met my expectations so mabe now the S3 will do it.
Unfortunatelu after an upgrade my battery life is tragic, so the phone annoys me. Also, when I've read the specs before buying I thought it would be fast as a lightning but...it lags sometimes... If the software remains the same, in my opinion that phone is failure...
Waiting for Samsung's move....
Looking at the phones on today's market, screens and bodies are getting bigger (and so are prices). The RAZR M gives us a nice larger screen with a palm friendly form factor and a price that's easy on the budget. At just $49.99 you get a top end processor and a battery that just won't quit. Smart Actions help the 2000 mAh last even longer. Verizon's LTE network and notoriously reliable Motorola reception and call quality make this a contender for the best all-arounder.
