Best phone I've ever owned hands down. (not regarding the less than stellar app store) I'm really enjoying the new windows phone 8 experience. It's different in a world filled with ios and android devices.
as expected from nokia, the form factor feels solid in the hand, the quality is far superior! and the windows experience is fresh! different from iOS and Google andriod phones. And I believe Nokia will rise again!
We switched to Verizon as a family when the new iPhone 5 came out. We all got iPhone 5?s but within 14 days I went back to the store and traded it in for a GS3. Besides all the great features with the GS3 the final thing that made me switch was the fact that with the iPhone 5 I couldn't use the internet while on the phone, I can with my Samsung. I love my GS3!
The display is simply amazing and battery life last a while disign tho id preffer it a big smaller.. its a bit too bulky and big overall i like phones 4,3 inches and bellow but still i like this phone
I work in the connections business, and I unbox, activate, troubleshoot, and accessorize phones from every major carrier that is in my market. In my career, I've never laid hands on a phone that stands apart from the crowd as substantially as the Nokia Lumia 920. The phone is very solid, and just absolutely gorgeous. Text on this incredible screen can be read at a completely perpendicular angle thanks to it's HD+ display. It's actually a phone that is so appealing, and enjoyable to use, that I don't want to customize it with different launchers etc. One thing I didn't think about before, was plugging this phone into your Windows 8 PC syncs the phone up flawlessly. Windows 8 instantly recognizes it as a Windows phone, and integrates with the metro UI. The battery on my phone drained very quickly after getting it, because I never let the screen shut off. I was enjoying just browsing through the menus, using the Xbox Live built in app...There is an endless amount of enjoyment to be had when you pick this phone up, if you're into gorgeous phones that do not lag, stutter, or hiccup at all, and flawless responsiveness.
The few gripes I have with this phone: This is a heavy phone, and because of it's glossy, curved edge body, it's a very slick phone. I'm always nervous holding it in my hand. I'm also concerned it's back is prone to scratches.
I'm also not adjusting well to the way the multitasking works with this phone. Sometimes apps will stay open in the background, sometimes they won't. There's no real task manager that I could find. I know it's a me issue, I just haven't been able to figure it out though.
Lastly, recording video on this phone is a little odd. Possibly due to the OIS feature, I notice uneven zooming. When the phone moves, the frame of the picture appears to tilt along the lateral axis, slightly zooming in at one corner, and zooming out at the other. The lens doesn't appear to be fixed and flat, which is why I think it's an OIS issue. There's some odd warping going on, but not a major problem right now.
Microphone/speaker quality is fantastic, by the way.
I like bigger screen and also a bit heavier handset what's rubbish is lack of apps.But I'm pretty sure MS will take care of
After using three versions of the Apple iphones; I've been impressed daily with the Galaxy S3. It is very customizable. I like the freedom of not being control by a system that control the apps or app makers you can select. I'm learning new things daily with this premier device.
The camera, display are the best on the market. Great design, wireless charhing is very cool, Nokia maps that don't require internet are great. Reception and call quality is always the best from Nokia. Nokia city lens, other apps and accessories are amazing! Buy it and you never regret!
It's a great device. The display is awesome, the processor is fast, the battery performance is great, and it's a beautiful device!
This is an awesome phone and the best choice I ever made was to buy this phone!
This phone is amazingly fast, stable and lasts all day. It doesnt get in the way of what i'm doing and I don't have to walk around with a charger like my old phone.
Everything about this phone is something to love! Only issue is the random black screens that occur once in a blue moon. Otherwise this phone is a must get!
