I have used iphone5 and siii but based but if provided a choice between two will def root for siii any day... though A6 proc of iphone is better than siii but its unnoticable during regular use.
Nokia is Nokia and with Lumia 920 Nokia has done a good job
Display - Probably the best blend of Contrast, Saturation, and Color Accuracy on the market, especially since you can change the Saturation setting.
Reception + Call Quality - Excellent call quality, in terms of reception, big phone = big antenna, big antenna=good reception.
Battery Life - Fantastic, PERIOD.
Design - Not too big. I repeat, NOT TOO BIG!!! I gave it a 4 out of 5 because of the capacitive buttons on the bottom, though I wanted to give it a 4.5. If the back and menu buttons responded to the S-Pen, I would have given it 5 out of 5 for design. The power button doesn't like taps either, just a little annoying.
Apps & Media - Do I even have to explain the 5 out of 5 here? The Galaxy Note II is HANDS-DOWN THE BEST MEDIA PHONE ON THE MARKET!!!
In short, the Galaxy Note II offers a fast, fun, and feature-packed experience to those who buy it.
the phone is a monster and destroys all competition...it is a great piece of technology...but lack of apps must be considered too.....!!!!!
The reason I gave the display a 4 is because of sunlight glare and also it often dims the screen when I'm currently using it, this may be due to me turning on the battery saver. Battery life is surprisingly good for such a powerful phone and I think I may need to invest in a portable charger with me just in case I'm going to be away from home for more than 12 hours. Reception is mainly due to my service provider but sometimes just switching something off and on again usually fixes the problem =)
There is no doubt I believe that this phone should be in the top 3 for at least a few more months! Still haven't seen any phone that's made me rethink this phone!
Every time I put in my pass word it won't let me hear my voice mail. I have already email them once. They said it would take about 4 hours. Nothing. Not good service either. This $50 LG phone is junk also. Language is all broke up. Would never make an important call on this phone. Can only text.
A smart smartphone I've ever used
Great display with gorilla glass
Great in capturing moments, both photograph or video
This phone brings us true multi-task with amazing battery life. I can design, creative, make my work done anywhere i want. All i need to is just carry this phone!
I come from using an iPhone 5 and a Galaxy S3, the Nokia Lumia 920 brings something new to the table, outstanding video recording, camera is amazing in low light, built quality is unique, the display is just great and windows phone 8 personalizes your phone the way you want it to look with a unique interface, the only thing that is left is getting a better app selection, whatsapp is not available at the moment so we wish to get more apps within the next few months.
Well rounded upgrade from iPhone 4S with many extras. Only cons: battery life with LTE drains quickly and calls take approximately 1-3 seconds to connect upon answering. This is not too much of a problem but can be slightly annoying at times. Gorgeous display, excellent follow-up from predecessor.
I get 16mbps down on T-Mobile's HSPA+42, so for me, this phone is as close to flawless as I've ever seen.
nice big screen
colors pop out for videos
has all the function I want
really cool
The wide variety of apps and songs plus its simple its probably me I don't want to take to much time to try to work my phone if you are like me stick with iOS.
Yes. All the Awesome things you read about the Note 2 are true!
The screen contrast isn't as great as the Galaxy Nexus or the GS3, but the high PPI (pixels per inch) is beautiful on that great 4.7 inch screen. The Gorilla Glass 2 on the front and back glass feels so perfect in your hand. It's a great phone.
I previously had the htc evo 4g lte and liked it, but when I called HTC to tell them about a problem I had, they quickly said that its not their responsibility and I should talk to sprint. Well, guess what? Thats exactly what sprint told me, except the other way around. I bought an iPhone 5, had a sim problem, they replaced it no questions asked. Also I get WAAY more LTE coverage and WAY faster speed on my iPhone. I love it more than any other phone.
