i have the H/K edition through sprint, and the first phone ive bought myself. the 1080p display is gorgeous- and no, I do not not down the amoLED displays as i had a hard time choosing. the speakers.... yeah they are just dope. ive been using spotify- and use the speakers quite a bit. im in a sprint spark lte area, and the hd voice is crystal clear. the apps/media are great, and ive had no isues w this phone. ive heard lots about the g3 and its 2k display (which currently is irrelevant), but id definitely give this a look if youre looking for a flagship.
ps- if youre on sprint, spend the extra $30 and get the H/K edition w the ae2 headphones. well worth it
Everything about this phone is good.
Was full on Samsung-guy for years. S3 then Note 4. Even the original Tab!
But i HAD TO get away from VZW and their tyrannical ways. So switched to T-Mobile. Went with new LG G3. and OMG!
This phone is everything I've wanted:
Awesome camera
Slim
Light
Insane Screen
Expandable Storage
Solid Battery Life
FAST
Clean front (goodbye home button!)
I just love it. Glad I'm with a better carrier, and a newer, fresher phone
I am fortunate to have great tmobile service at my area. I had four lines for $90 plus taxes I paid 110 every month. My plan is grandfathered, the current similar plan is 100 for four lines. Tmobile has the best deal for me. I am a demanding customer and gave their customer rep headaches sometimes. They have great customer service. Always listened to me patiently. Their service is excellent in my area. I felt so lucky and happy. I don't think I will ever get as a good of a deal anywhere else oft four lines. I referred my bf and his family to switch to tmobile yesterday. They love it. Rep at the store offer them a great promotion for five lines plus a tablet. He's glad to save money over AT&T, and rec'd better benefits. now he has unlimited plan with 2.5 high speed for each line. I love tmobile and will continue to stay with them. I hope their service will continue to improve in rural areas, so many more ppl will have a chance to join their wonderful plans.
All around great experience for anyone, battery life is great it's extremely fast and I haven't had any lag since I've had this phone, I have even got it wet and it's still going like nothing, only complain is the camera, both in the magapixels and camera software
I never had a problem on my 3rd phone now.. I can't comment on customer service for I never needed to contact them. bargain rates
This is the best budget smartphone currently available in the market with 2 GB of Ram and 16 GB of Internal Storage
I recently purchased this phone about a week ago and I love it. Despite what people say about its cheap looks it feels really nice to hold in the hand and its very grippy. Also despite what people say about touchwiz I disabled all the bloatware of samsung the second I got it and I have had 0 lag issues. my usage amount is pretty average not too heavy but not too light either and the battery lasts anywhere from a day and a half to two days and also I can get it fully charged in less than two hours so its easy to quick charge before running out of the house. Overall great phone, great to hold in the hand, great to use, and great battery life. I have 0 regrets in buying this phone
It's sad that all the reviews have to be so bad but I must report the same thing. Customer service sucks really bad. I called, after a month of using my Net10 as a test for AT&T signal, to have my Straight Talk number ported. They said they had to send a new SIM card. Several days later, no SIM card. I called in again. They were nice but again, no SIM card and 7 days after I called to have my number ported my Straight Talk account ended. No Port. BASTARDS
BLUF ? Never use only one website to be your reference to select a cell phone plan. If you check every cell phone company on this site, you would never sign up with any of them. Check many sites, understanding there are always disgruntled people exaggerating their posts. Easy to tell the ones from clueless people. The Gold Standard reference for Cell Phone Plans is Consumer Reports, the USA?s undisputed leader in consumerism.
My first cell phone was back in 2004. (OK, quit laughing) I selected T-Mobile as I did not want a contract plan, preferred to purchase my phone, and they had good coverage in my area. Rep listened to my needs and showed me several available phones. Rep explained how the phone and monthly plan worked. Rep advised me at that time there were cheaper ways to make international calls then through their network. Refreshingly honest right from the start. Later around 2010 I upgraded from a flip phone to smart phone. Local store provided honest guidance on each phone, helping me pick the phone best for my needs. Swapping from the old to the new phone was flawless, no problems at all. As of today, I still have the same phone but will be upgrading to a larger Samsung model. Looking at a cheaper refurbished model on their website. I like the way I can adjust my monthly plan on their website, no need to call or go in. Staying with T-Mobile and so glad they did not merge with Sprint. As with any purchase, Caveat Emptor (Let the buyer beware)
no matter what flagship you buy you will not regret it I chose the Z2 because of its battery life.
great screen headset is powerful and batter is slighty bad i guess because of the bugs of kitkat everything is a must have great phone luv it
I traded this phone in for the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and I'm glad that I did. I went from the Note 2, to the Note 3, to HTC One Max, then to the LG G Flex and then the Mega 6.3. The G Flex's display quality lacked severely compared to the rest of these phones. I would find myself straining to see whatever that was on the screen. The phone itself looked cool and, I really enjoyed the self-healing back although that didn't matter much because I always take care of my phones but it was a cool feature. There really isn;t much good to say about this phone other than it looked cool.
I love the design of this phone when I had it. I went from the Note 3 to this phone thinking it would be better for my daily use. It probably would have been if I could have gotten use to SENSE. I am a huge fan of Samsung devices and before this phone Samsung were all I trusted. I truly loved the design and the batter life but SENSE was not only too slow but much more complicated than it should have been and had a much more plain look.
I currently have this phone and I wanted it mostly because it was not only a Samsung but because it was the biggest phone on the market at the time. Yes it lacks a lot of the features that the Note 3 I previously have but I get more use out of it in my daily routine. Its a bit slow at times especially compared to the Note 3 but it gets me by. If I had to say anything needed improving on this phone it would definitely be the processor speed and the call quality. The call quality most of the time is not the greatest. I have to access the extra volume on every call and even then its still hard to hear the caller. Overall its a great phone! Looks great and feels great.
