The main attractions of the phone are the display, boom sound, build quality and the new ultra pixel camera. The display of the HTC ONE is just awesome with 468ppi, even though the screen is a super LCD 2 screen the color saturation is excellent and it is also very bright even in bright daylight the display is visible. The new BOOM SOUND with beats audio will be a real boon for you while watching movies and playing games. The speakers on the HTC ONE is the best speaker available on a smartphone today. The HTC ONE also has 4MP ULTRA PIXEL camera which, even though is a 4MP camera, uses a new technology to give better images than even 12MP cameras and also gives great snaps in very low light conditions. Both the front and rear facing cameras in the HTC ONE can shoot videos in 1080p and the rear camera can shoot HDR videos in 10810p and it works great the HDR pictures taken by the HTC is simply awesome comparable to other point ans shoot cameras and DSLR's. The camera on the HTC one has zero shutter lag and also have the new zoe which enables you to take a 3 minute video with sound and the phone automatically edits the video. The phone also comes with a full aluminium uni body design which makes the HTC ONE on top of the list in terms of build quality. The HTC one feels very slid in the hands and it will catch everyone's attention. The phone is very easy to hold in our hand and feels very comfortable and very easy to carry around. Also the HTC one comes with latest version of android that is 4.2.2 aka Jelly bean and on top of that it has the new HTC sense version 5.0 which has the new blinkfeed which is a very useful feature. The new HTC sense 5.0 has made the UI very simple and attractive and also provides a ton of customization options. If you are a person who plays a lot of high graphic games this is the perfect device because almost all games look magical on the 4.7inch 1080p display and the boom sound will keep you playing the game till your phone runs out of power because the boom sound directs the sound right towards you and make the game more realistic. If you hear a lot of songs and watch movies this will be your dream device it is a totally different experience to watch 720p or 1080p videos or movies on the gorgeous 4.7 inch display of the HTC ONE along with the boom sound with beats audio. The experience of using this phone is beyond my words you just have to use it to get that once in a life time experience. After reading about poor battery life, I went a full day without charging. I was at 22 percent battery life and checked it said 15 hours on battery. I have a screenshot for proof.

This phone truly is the one, the build quality on this phone is second to none. The Screen quality is also just as amazing 1080p 468 PPI the lot. Its also a more natural display unlike the saturated amoled ones. Don't get me wrong I like amoled but i just think its too OP simply to get the mainstream customers. The camera is actually good i like it, especially low light, although it doesn't have as many features like the Samsung one. But i personally find some of the Samsung camera features to be gimmicky. The software 4.1.2 is very good HTC sense has definitely improved and they have ditched their bloated animations. However, you cant turn off blink feed which is a tad annoying and I had wished that HTC had some sort of quick power toggles in the notification bar like samsung or nexus 4. However that can be fixed by getting a toggle app. Also quick note the HTC one camera appears to have a wide angle which i find quite useful. Battery life is actually i decent I take it out around 7 and by 9pm at night iv got like 30% left on HSDPA+ and 3G. Don't have 4G yet in UK. heavy you tube streaming, WIFI connection wherever possible, couple of calls, games, text, whatsapp and taking pics as well as FB and instagram. So i think its good.

once you hold this beautiful phone there is no turning away from it, with it sleek modern look and the cool to touch metal uni body and the software to back it up. it is a impressive piece of kit although not fully featured as the s4, but built upon more practical features unlike the gimmicky s4, to tell you the truth i was torn between the to phones and I spent a good amount of time on both of them. the most astonishing thing I discovered was that the one was much more responsive than the s4, every now and then the s4 would get laggy which for me was a deal breaker when you consider the s4 has a snapdragon 600 clocked at 1.9ghz v the one 1.7ghz the perfect way to replicate this is by installing a app from the market and try using the device at the same time where has I was not able to replicate this on the one, maybe the s4 needs and update to address this issue or touchwiz is getting to heavy for the device. but lets get back to the htc one, boom sound is amazing and believe when i say it, once you use it, nothing else sound like it and I have never experienced it with any other mobile or tablet. when ever I watch youtube on my nexus 7 I always revert back to the one. The ultra pixel camera is bit week in daylight condition but in lowlight it is very impressive and the video recording are amazing on it, Youtube recorded uploads dont do justice to the htc one videos. zoe is another amazing feature which you will find your self hooked on it. I was also impressed with the dialer and phonebook, htc has really good integration with facebook, twitter, messages, emails and the way it links photo from various services, I wish reviewers would talk more about these features.
overall i love the handset but it does have some downsides to one being storage and the only reason i say that is because the one video capture is a absolute storage eater other wise 32gb is enough for most users. and if your a heavy user expect to keep your charger with you or a boaster pack but for moderate to light user will get a day and half to 2 day depending on your reception.
And I wished htc would add some gestures like the s4, only the practical ones
