The display is gorgeous and shows a true color spectrum in any lighting situation. Its not as saturated as the GS4, which could be a pro or con depending on how you look at it. In Colorado, 3g data isn't the best and call quality is overall pretty good. I occasionally here an echo, but that would be more a Sprint issue than an HTC one, I can get through a full days life with moderate use. The phone can get rather warm when playing games or movies. Don't worry though, it cools down rather quickly. I've had this phone for about a week and so far so good!
First off talking about the color options .. White is funky and bright and black is classy and elegant.. I bought both lte version.Looks awesome all around.
Powering on the screen u find it hard to realize its 1080p coz of the unflattering colors it exibits compared to Droid DNA. The mean literally the screen on the DNA looks like its painted with real colors. And on the XZ looks like someone added a bit of water to the colors making it look washed out even while viewing It dead on. Some video files doesn't work on stock player. Camera post processing is too heavy which tales away the details. Hdr is much talk about but in reality males the video grainy and dull.continuous Use becomes uncomfortable because of hard squared edges. ...loudspeaker placement is is lousy.
things I liked are SD card support, lte ,looks,power button placement, on screen navigation keys.
All in all if u want a modern good looking fast smartphone you can get this . Otherwise I would say money is well spent on the HTC One or go for the reliable HTC Butterfly

It's my first Android experience and I love it. I was hesitant about moving to android because of the lag problems I hear about, but this phone has no lag problems what so ever. I advise any body to buy this phone if you're hesitating between this and the Samsung galaxy S4.
I personally impressed with the built quality of the phone! It's amazing to hold. Display is very good ,super smooth. Speakers are great,the sound clarity is very. Good effort on camera, new sensors are very good and I love the Zoey feature in Htc. In conclusion ,it's the best smartphone available in market!
The Htc One combines all the quality and features that are important.
S4 deserve first place..Htc one wins because of the aluminium back..

I bought this phone cause I like touch wiz a lot, and thought all the new features were pretty cool and I have to say they are really cool and some really come in handy! Battery life exceeded my expectations I thought maybe it wouldn't be so great cause of the hi-res display and it being 5 inches but it is actually really great. And the camera is really great as well! All-in-all I would rather have this phone over any other smartphone it has crazy good specs and actually has a big enough battery to make it through the day! Some people say its no upgrade over the s3 but they are wrong they took all the good that the s3 had and made it better!
I purchased the HTC One a few weeks ago and I was really impressed. I have been an Iphone user since 2009 but wanted to try out android and I don't regret it. At first I wasn't sure so I exchanged the One for the Samsung Galaxy S4. I really liked the S4 because the slightly bigger screen but it was such a headache with the 9gb free space just for the apps. The S4 does beat the One with more features but the extra features that it has you would never use unless you wanted to show it off or wanted to swing your head left to right or up and down. They didn't work half the time. Also, if you own Macbook or Apple computer it is a much smoother transition because it automatically downloads and syncs any itunes files to the new software whereas when I connected the S4 I had to go to the website and download the software and it still kept saying it didn't support it half the time. I would have to disconnect and reconnect a few times to successfully sync. I gave a 4 for the battery life only because I wish it had a removable battery. The battery does last about as long as the S4 because the S4 drains so much on its larger battery. The display on the One has more true colors, the speakers are worth it, the camera works really good indoors and it does the job outdoors. Overall the phone is the best I ever had and for me having to go back and forth just to exchange back to this phone, I recommend it for anyone. And if 32gb isn't enough just buy the 64gb. Almost the same as if you bought a S4 and a 64gb sd card except the internal storage part.
Had the Galaxy Note 2 and now no spen needes with better apps and better battery life ..The htc one battery life is not as good the only thing better is the built quality and Beats Audio other thab that sense ui sucks and htc updates take forever
