nice display. awesome job by samsung. great development
The 960*540 pixel display doubled up with the LCD screen gives you sharp text and no pixelation is noticeable, but the colors aren't nearly as saturated or vibrant on the Samsung phones with super amoled technology. Hence the Samsung Vibrant.
Call quality was decent, but here in suburban Connecticut, the reception was limited.(usually 1 bar of T-mobile's HSPA+ 4g network) Speed tests were as expected from HSPA+ with maximum speeds around 9mbps in the city and average speeds at about 4mbps.
The battery life is very short, I was getting about 2 hours of battery life, however, I am an intensive user who uses high end HD games such as Shadowgun, or Modern Combat 3, after all, I am 13.
Processor performance was reasonable, the qualcomm snapdragon s3 proccessor had trouble and lagged in demanding functions like navigating flash enabled websites, or scrolling through Sense 3.0. Basic functions like text messages had no problem keeping up. When playing games however, the Adreno 220 gpu had no problems and breezed through graphic intensive games.
The Google Play Store is gathering quality apps and is starting to resemble IOS' Market, yet still lacks some games that I have on my Apple Iphone 4.
Once again, HTC has scored high on design as you can expect. The phone had a nice 16:9 aspect ratio and fit comfortably in my hand (better than some of the earlier devices *HTC EVO 4G*. The device feels sturdy and is made of a nice soft touch material with metal accents. The sturdy build makes it just the right weight. I rated a perfect 5 on design/form factor.
I've owned various BB's since the 7100 series. Now have the 9780. Got my wife her first BB, the 9900. We both just LOVE it. Just the perfect balance of features and performance of anything else out there, especially for a BB enthusiast, or even a nubie to BB like my wife. I think maybe most others would love it, too - if they ignore all the BB media bashing out there.
The iPhone is hands down the best smartphone in the market, although it has fierce competition from Android handsets, the iPhone sold more phones and at the end of the day it's all that counts.
fast, flawless, long battery life, amazing vibrant screen and oh yeah... it's huge. your eyes will love you for getting the big screened behemoth of a phone. simply amazing! i love mine more than any phone i've owned to date. went over 17 hours off the charger before the phone hit 1% battery life left.
Although the Blackberry Bold 9900 may not have a large quantity of apps, the design and amazing keyboard makes this phone one of the best phones in the market...
The phone is amazing. Display is clear, response is awesome, ram and cpu are stellar, the only drawback it's it's not meant for small hands and single handed operation.
Best phone ever, i wish the battery live was better but hopefully iphone 5 will come with lte
Compare any display to the galaxy note and the note's display is noticeably better. The color reproduction because of the super amoled is AMAZING! The hd screen is just an absolute eye-candy. Call quality and reception is excellent, espically it's LTE. It is blazing fast! Even the unlocked international with HSPA+ is pretty darn fast. The design I think is excellent. It's razor thin and while many people think it is too big, you'll get used to it in like a week. Obviously, there are millions of apps to choose from the Google Play Store (Android Market) so that is not a problem. The S-Pen is splendid! Very accurate and precise. I can't imagine going back to a phone without it. Overall this phone, tablet, whatever you call it is absolutely amazing!
I think it is the most amazing OS out there. It's very fast, the display is beautiful (retina display makes for great image quality and clear text). Siri is a great add-on, telling it to set your reminders, meetings, text messages, and more. The dual-core processor is detected by how much faster and less laggy it is (not to say that the iPhone 4 is slow by any means). The camera is the best camera on a phone! So if you need a phone that's fast and you need apps, and you want it to be around a nice media ecosystem, iOS and iPhone 4S if for you.
when i got it it seemed big, bout a week got used to the big form factor. The display was beautiful text was crisp and clear and colors were vibrant. Calling was amazing, at dead zones not that much and reception was average of any smartphone. battery life was awesome, it lasted through 2 days with light and a day and a half for light to moderate use, heavy, got about 10 hours. The design wasn't the best, but felt great. Apps, were great, with android Market, it was great, but not up to pare with IOS app store.Overall its a great device if your looking for the latest and greatest, if u want something stock and not that big with similar specs, go with the galaxy nexus.
Not to good phone but running on the Android 4.0 ICS that's cool
i love wp7 and this is the best of them all!
the build quality is great i just hope that app developers focus a bit more on wp7, the selection is ok but no where near ios
