Had the iPhone (so last month!). Switched to Win Phone - and it is so much better. Started with the Nokia 900 but after issues on 3 phones (hey it looks cool but I also like a phone to actually work well) ATT offered to swap out for the Titan II - Display is better IMHO, Call quality better, Battery also better. Speaker phone is just OK.
I got the One S as the successor to my Nexus One which served me well. The One S is solid, sleek and sexy. Call quality is excellent and the camera is to die for. The Beats audio is the ice cream in the sandwich! Overall this is an awesome device that will go down as One of HTC's finest superphones!
Most simalar one series to evo 4g lte.... Evo has better battery life w/ beats audio and Hd voice. the camera also has better features. Comes with ice cream sandwhich and htc sence 4.0. Same processor and it has metal around it feeling like a iphone and its about the same size. Same screen quality . I rather have evo becuz has a kickstand etc even tho the 1x international has a quad core imma just talking about the U.S versions... Evo wins becuz you can also expand memory and u cant on one X.
i use to wanna have iPhone, but already changed my mind after i know note :)
the best phone i have ever used
its very fast beautiful smartphone great quad core processor beautiful excellent camera wonderful 4.7 inch display HTC ONE x got it all.
Such a great device Sense 4 is very nice different from expected. ICS is great. Coming from iOS it's a great change.
There's lot of them on the internet...... :)
The galaxy nexus is the best android device out.
The screen is amazing and the speed is great.
Batt life with the extended batt is good.
This is my seventh android phone. and nothing compairs. The on screen buttons are a hit are miss.
I dont like them because they take up to much screen in day to day stuff. Still the best phone out even after 6 months.
Over the last year I have gone through every major mobile phone operating system except windows phone. Finally I found a phone that works. The iphone 4s is the first phone that as soon as I held it I knew it was worth the money. It just has a nice premium quality to it. For the most part this phone has exceeded my expectations other than a few small problems. The first was the battery life when I got it out of the box was abysmal, but after some tweeking I can get two days before I have to recharge. The other issue is that when I make calls I feel has though I sound hollow or I am hearing an echo. In the end this phone is great if ios works for you and you are already invested into the apple eco system. One last thing I don't know how it is with other carriers, but when I went to the AT@T website to see what the user reviews said none existed. It seems weird to me that you can look at user reviews for countless android, blackberry and windows phone devices. Yet you can't see what people think about any iphone variation unless you check an external site that just strikes me as a little weird.
the display and hardware is amazing. A multimedia power house. i prefer it to the gs3
Display: Nokia's Clearblack AMOLED display with RGB matrix is certainly an eye candy, with saturated colours and deep blacks. The deep blacks certainly play well with the dark theme of the Windows Phone OS, where the display and the bezel seem to merge into each other. Nokia's Clearblack technology has also allowed the display to be one of the least reflective among all mobile displays, beating even the likes of the Galaxy S II. Hence enhancing the readability of the display outdoors. The Nokia Lumia 900 lost its point to the screen resolution, where a WVGA resolution of 217 ppi on the 4.3 inch display does not make the cut for the year 2012 anymore. The low ppi will show its disadvantage when reading small text on the browser or when using Nokia Reader.
Reception & Call Quality: Reception & Call Quality is something that Nokia does best given its reputation of manufacturing the best hardware for it mobile phones. Moreover, the polycarbonate chassis of the Nokia Lumia 900 allow virtually no signal disruption to the antenna radios. Therefore the Reception & Call Quality of the Nokia Lumia 900 deserves a clear-cut 5 out of 5.
Battery Life: Nokia has generously included a huge 1800mAh battery into the Nokia Lumia 900, therefore battery life should be above average with moderate use. Moreover, the Nokia Lumia 900 not only operates on a single-core 1.4ghz snapdragon S2 processor with Adreno 205 graphics, it is also operating on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, which is less resource hungry compared to Android. Therefore, moderate users can certainly make it a full day before plugging in the device for a recharge. We should not forget the fact that the battery life king for smartphones still belong to the Motorola RAZR MAXX, therefore i would give the Nokia Lumia 900 a battery rating of 4 out of 5.
Design/Form Factor: People had been singing praises for the pillow-like design of Nokia's devices since the announcement of the Nokia N9, so the Nokia Lumia 900 is no exception over here too. The unibody design of the Nokia Lumia 900 surely creates a clean and sleek look. The symmetrically curved body of the Nokia Lumia 900 not only feels good and solid in the hand, it fits snugly and comfortably in the hand as well. Nokia has certainly looked into the details and gave the Nokia Lumia 900 a thinner bezel, therefore allowing single-handed use for users with larger hands. Due to the larger dimensions of the device, reaching to the top of the device to unlock it might be uncomfortable, therefore Nokia's placement of the Power/Lock button for the Nokia Lumia 900 at the side certainly enhances the usability of the device. Generally i have no complains about the Design/Form Factor of the Nokia Lumia 900, and it is also undeniably one of the best looking phones to date, especially with the fresh paintjobs of the device like Cyan, White and even Magenta (which might be announced soon). Therefore i am giving it a 5 out of 5 as well.
Apps & Media Support: One of the deal-breakers of Windows Phone operated phones are certainly the ecosystem of the applications that can be found in the Marketplace. Currently the Marketplace has only about 80,000 application and games, which is a far cry from the vast ecosystem of the App Store and Googlr Play. Therefore fancy app lovers might want give a second thought before throwing in their hard-earned cash into a Windows Phone. In terms of Media Support, Nokia is certainly not going to lose out to the other OSes. Nokia has released exclusive apps for its Windows Phones, including Nokia Music, ESPN, Nokia Maps, Nokia Drive and even Nokia Reader. Therefore i would give it a rating of 3 out of 5.
The screen is just finger licking good and the speed is unheard of! There just isn't another phone on the market who can compete with the combination of everything it has inside it's hull. Thank God for this machine!!
