I recently switched from a Galaxy S 2 to the Nokia Lumia 900. I had the HTC HD7 on T-Mobile and fell in love with WP immediately. For me, the way my phone operates is just as important as the look of it, and WP is gorgeous. The phone itself is remarkable, from the corner edges to the cyan color, my family full of iPhone 4's have definitely showed their jealousy. It feels so solid in the hand because uni-body polycarbonate shell (I wanna throw it against the wall just to see what it would do to the wall). Happy customer, excellent choice.
I have been a Tracfone customer since the summer of 2009, and I have been very pleased with the different phones I have had through them. My calls to customer service have been excellent. I have read some peoples' reviews to others that Tracfone isn't great, to not get another phone from them, etc. but I've had no problems with customer service whatsoever. Every time I added a minutes card to my phone, they always showed up on whichever phone I added the airtime to and the extra service days as well. I have two lines (so does my mom), and we're happy. Here are the best things about having Tracfone:
1) No contract to sign and be locked in to
2) No credit check
3) No fees for activating, re-activating, or cancellation of service
4) No monthly bills
5) You can have as many minutes as you like to your phone or phones, regardless of how often you talk on the phone
6) Most Tracfones have Double Minutes for Life on them, meaning whenever you add a minutes card to the phone, the card's face value doubles (if you add a 200 minutes card, you get 400 minutes)
7) If you have a promo code (which is a five digit number) and add that after your regular minutes card, you will get a certain number of bonus minutes (on DMFL phones, these bonus minutes don't double, but the're quite handy to have).
Again, I'm satisfied with Tracfone, and I will gladly stay on with them, and I will highly recommend this to someone who is wanting the lowest priced cell service.
Looks plastic but inside a hard-core machine.
Nice phone that will definitely benefit from improvements promised by Sprint's network improvement plans.
The HTC One S may be the flag-ship phone for T-Mobile only until the Galaxy S III arrives but there is going to be a fierce competition to say it won't stay that way. The One S is easily one of the best phones on the market and it truly shines with it's sleek, slim design, it's beautiful dislay, and amazing sound thanks to the Beats by Dre audio system.
I've had the phone for two weeks now and I love it more each and every day that I use it. I think what impresses me the most is that I can go almost a whole day before I need to charge the phone, something I've not experienced on an Android phone before. Add in things like a crisp, sharp camera, and super fast speeds and this is any phone lovers dream come true. It's well worth the purchase.
prefer razr maxx's battery and galaxy nexus's UI and display. hopefully there'll be a new phone with the combination above.
Nokia Lumia 900 has an excellent design. It has killer hardware looks as well as a very smooth UI. If Nokia can give such a smooth performance on Single Core Processor then I can just imagine what would happen when they come up with a dual core or a quad core processor!
It's been about a month now since I bought my HTC One X and it's so far the best smartphone I purchased and out there. I had an Iphone,Sony Xperia X10,Samsung Galaxy S2 and HTC One tops them all. The only thing that might be considered a let down would be the battery life. I get about a day of average usage ( Phone calls, Wifi, videos, a bit Gaming) which is ok but wished it could have been better. Overall this phone rocks in every other prospects! Definitely would recommand others getting this beast. :)
I.C.S. 4.0, Sense 4.0, 720p hd screen, S4 chip, gorilla glass screen, etc.. I could gone on and on. This is just an amazing phone.
It's a pretty awesome phone for the value, I just love every thing on the phone and the design. In my opinion the Nokia is the best thing I've ever owned in my life and I want to continue my happiness by casting this vote.
4.3'' display is enough for me, htc have most beatiful desgn
Its HTC ONE X..its out there..!!GO GET IT!!!!:D:D:D...delightful experience in every aspect!!
Here is the most honest review of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE. I am writing this because I feel that people don't spend enough time with a device to merit a useful, and accurate review.
The display is amazing, the blacks are pitch and the colors are vivid. 720p display on a phone is a beautiful thing, watching movies, and looking at photos is a dream come true on this device.
The reception and call quality is the absolute deal-breaker on this phone. 4G and 3G drops randomly and results in absolutely NO data or voice connectivity whatsoever. It always seems to happen seconds after you attempt to place a call, or send a text message, which is the only time you truly need it.
The battery is about average for an Android phone, I should also note that I purchased the official extended battery at the same time as the phone and have not even bothered with the standard stock battery. I can get about 10 - 12 hours with average use,and a work-day (8-9 hours) with heavy use. You will need to charge this at least once in the middle of the day unless you keep it in a desk all day.
I love the design of this phone, the button-less menu system has never hung up or lagged once. The power button on the right side, takes about a week to get used to, but once you do, you will find just how convenient it is compared to always being on the top.
Now lets be honest for a moment; Google Play is still bloated with crap. Don't take that the wrong way; Apple's App Store is no better at all, and Blackberry's AppWorld is the worst of them all. There are some really great apps on there though; Friendcaster (alternate to Facebook), Plume (alternate to Twitter), among others. The Google integration is the one savior to this (and all Android) devices.
Overall I can not honestly recommend this phone at the time of writing this review (June 2012) due solely to the horrible data connectivity, and reception. Verizon has promised fixes for the (now known) issues, yet has not released them to the entire public. If you are in the market for a nice phone, look into an Android device that can be rooted and flashed and you will have all the benefits of a Nexus, without the frustration.
Overall Rating for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE: 2/5
IMHO this phone is the overall best phone on the market for the average consumer. It might not have a display like the Nexus or a true HD display but it is more than enough for the average person, also to take into consideration how much power those true HD display use. Dual core proccesser and verizon 4G LTE speeds in a thin very well built design makes this phone hard to pass up if you are deciding between this and other phones on the market(Gnexus,Rezound, iphone 4s...Ect).
I live in west Covina ca. And my WiMAX 4g speed are 7-10 mbps which is great! And the 4.52 inch display if very bright and vivid. Lu's the contrast is insane. Also great design. Average battery life with 1,850 Mah. The display sucks the juice out my battery, plus stand by time lacks of effort. Thank you
I think the Htc One X is somth in advance compared to the smartphones today exist. Good for HTC because is a really nice brand.
i jus love the note huge display
a dual core and still pretty fast !!!
looking forward for a NOTE 2 :)
well....it has the better design than the GS3 :)
