Love it with jellybean. It's so fast I'm having a hard time trying to get rid of it to get the S3.
See when people write a review i find too.... much.... in this review im only going to say one word about the phone: awesome.
This phone has the best display on the market with a pixel density of 342 Pixels Per Inch (PPI). Not only for phones but ALL mobile devices. It has a better display than the brand new Macbook Pro!! In the box you get $100 beats headphones for free, 4G LTE, and it's an HTC so build quality is amazing. Also HTC Sense is loaded on there and with the new Ice Cream Sandwich update the phone runs smooth as silk with it's dual core 1.5Ghz processor. Even though its been out for a while, there is no phone that can go near its display today. Plus you get a nice price drop because its been out for so long:)
This phone is a beast. It has everything you'd expect from a flagship phone in 2012.This thing flies through, everything, no hints of lag anywhere and I can't wait until Jelly Bean is finally released for it.
Performance: 9.5/10 There is no noticeable lag o this phone. The only time it does lag on me is when I use the Sony Xperia Live Wallpaper, but it only happens if I don't use the Sony Xperia Launcher.
Battery Life 9/10: It could be better, but it lasts the whole day through normal moderate usage such as making phone calls, texting, browsing, 3D games(Dead Trigger), YouTube, and downloading apps. Note that I am on T-Mobile's HSPA+ 42Mbs network, so I don't have LTE sucking my battery dry like the ATT&T and Verizon models due, I still get around 11Mbps in my area, so it's still fast.
Camera/Video 10/10: Excellent, better than the Note and S II. It has fine tuned and added new features such as Burst Shot and HDR. Pictures come out crisp and vivid. Camera is also very good, quality is top notch.
Screen 10/10: Now this is a personal preference, I love SAMOLED HD screens, they give very saturated colors and deep blacks. I see Samsung has made improvements on the whites as there is not such an obvious blue hue as there were on previous Samsung phones. I would have liked to see a + in there, but I know that my screen will last longer without it since the blues won't die out as quickly.
Reception 8/10 and Call Quality 10/10: The reception I get from T-Mobile is spotty, it fluctuates between 2-4 a lot while on my Note (N-7000) it stays at 3-4 bars, mostly 4, I'm not sure why. Call quality on this phone is the best I have ever used on any smartphone, voices sound clear, robust, and natural, there is no other phone that can compare to it and I have tried a lot of smartphones.
Design 9/10: It's simple, light, and elegant. It is really thin compared to my Note and S II i-9100, and it feels light in your hands. The back does get scratches from what I've seen, so I just went to Ghost Armor and ordered the back and sides to be covered. The Hyper-Glaze gives it a nice finish.
Apps & Media Support 10/10: Samsung provides you with a plethora of their apps and some are more useful than others. I know it's a love or hate thing, but I'm going to base this off of a first time Android user(I'm not) since it will be more pleasing to average user to fins everything there. I hate the T-Mobile crapware though.
excelente equipo tanto en resistenciacomo entodo lo demas pero sobretodo en el rendimiento en la bateria muy superior a todos los demas!
Good camera, awesome beats audio, great display, best You Tube Video browsing.... better than S3.
The last Samsung phone we had was just a plain jane model about 4 years ago. I only tried a Samsung smartphone after a friend had a Captivate and had good things to say about it. I'm glad I listened to that friend. I traded in an HTC Inspire that I'd only had about 5 months. It locked up more times than the brakes on an old car, hated it.
Apple iPhone4s what can i say its the best of the best phone ever i have used so far
When it came time to upgrade from my HTC Droid Incredible, I looked for something that had 4G coverage and was an upgrade from the Incredible. And that's a hard challenge as the Incredible was Incredible. But here is the Galaxy SII Epic 4G. Actual 4G coverage w/ Sprint (unlike Sprint's Galaxy SIII, Galaxy Nexus 4g LTE and HTC EVO 4G LTE), a dynamic AMOLED screen, big size that fits in your hand real well and great battery life (I've been able to not charged for 10 hours as opposed to the 7 hrs advertised). And now running ICS and soon to be Jelleybean, this is a phone that's on par w/ the 4G LTE phones out there.
Suit's all my need! Except the battery life, but I don't mind taking the extra mile to bring a portable charger.
Its seriously the best device I have ever used, I wished I had one of my own.
With apples great ios interface, siri, and its perfect design, the iphone 4s is by far the best phone to buy.
I've had this phone for a couple weeks, upgraded from the Epic 4G Touch. I'm in love! It's the best phone I've ever had
I have been a customer of AT&T for 8 years now. For $100 a month including taxes I have a family plan that includes two lines and 1000 minutes a month. I do not text or use the internet. The service has been o.k. for the most part. I get reception almost everywhere in NYC but I sometimes lose calls in parts of stores. The voice mail has recently become a problem. I will occasionally get messages a day after they were sent! This has cost me money. I have accumulated over 7000 rollover minutes. However, they are useless if I want to change my plan since I will lose them if I change plans. The customer service has been friendly on the 3-4 occasions that I have needed them. However, my calls to them were informational and not much was accomplished. The phones that I have received have functioned for the duration of the contract. On my last contract I had a Samsung phone where the screen went blank towards the end of the last contract. I waited until the end of the contract to get a new phone. For the money that I am paying, I should be getting internet service included. I am planning to switch to another carrier!
