Samsung may have to redesign the touch-viz to make it more appealing, otherwise an awesome phone !
Awesome screen, great curves, Android 4.0 is fluid, Not 1 dropped call yet, wish the speaker was louder
I have tried a samsung galaxy s 2 and a htc inspire I love them both...but maybe because I have always had an iPhone from first generation I keep coming back to apple. I am so intertwined with apple with the iPad and mac and apple tv that al the apps just work together. I am interested in trying windows hone once nokia comes out with there phone but spped, ease of use, and the fact that I jailbreak my iPhone and always have make my iPhone the most powerful phone I can use. If the screen was a little bigger it would make it perfect.
The fact that this phone doesn't have any capacitive home buttons and instead bakes them into the operating system is the best for me. I had a nexus s and tried to move to a non nexus phone afterwards to get a dual core... I regretted it dearly.
Phone is awesome great display supports many codecs but needs a bigger battery. ive had mines for about 3 months now and have no complaints about the device battery aside.
From a Nokia fanboy like me. For wich other phone could i vote for? :D
Phone has a awesome display, runs gingerbread very well compared to my buggy droid x I had before. Phone also is built well. Feels great to hold and just feels its built good and not made cheap. Call quality is great, no issues. Overall a great choice and upgrade from my droid x.
I love the fact this phone has been getting software updates that improve the user experience and add features. With the latest updates I can now use NFC, DLNA and WiFi Hotspot bringing the phone almost on par with the other types of phones. I said almost because, although it is improving it still needs a front facing cam and HDMI out. Another place it needs improvement on is the Browser, again...although they have improved it from OS6 it is still slow and some videos don't work on the browser. The best part though is if you have a PlayBook Tablet and you use the bridge feature. Being able to use the phone as a remote and connect it to a big screen tv is amazingly crisp and smooth, I LOVE IT!
IV OWNED IOS DEVICES EVERY SENSE THEY CAME OUT AND POINT BLACK PERIOD I WOULD NEVER USE AND OTHER PHONE!
In my opinion, this is the best phone money can buy right now. The ONLY reason I almost chose the Galaxy Nexus over this is its lack of NFC (for Google Wallet). However, between the removable storage and extended battery options (which GNEX doesn't have), the FAR superior HTC quality (better reception Everywhere, as well as 4g reception, AND better build quality), the HTC stands out. The SLCD2 is much better in bright sunlight than the older versions of SLCD (one of the selling points of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus was the SAMOLED which shows up just fine in daylight) and the colors are crisper and truer than the Galaxy Nexus or Razor Maxx. It seems silly to pit those phones against a superior HTC Rezound. It's too bad Verizon under-advertised and under-sold this phone.
Super fast for its time, I would like to see other models of the Galaxy Note to replace it, but cmon lets face it, the Galaxy note is outdated for its time, time for Quadcore technology.
I just love the software and the phone design.
Like the display a lot, built quality could have been better, camera is pretty amazing.
The Super AMOLED HD screen with 1280x800 resolution is truly one of the best smartphone displays, along with a dual core 1.4GHz processor and 1GB RAM. However, its UI leaves much to be desired, and should be smoother for such a high-speced phone.
Compared to Amaze: Better audio playback from recorded videos. Compared to iPhone - has widgets, true multitasking, multiple homescreens, full flash browser, customization, memory card, removable battery, keyboard options, bigger screen. Compared to other GS2 - bigger battery, bigger screen, 42mbps.
Brilliant screen sharp text. Out of this world entertainment ecosystem (app and music etc). Fantastic design. Glass is strong.
