Motorola needs to take notes from Samsung. This is what a smart phone should be.
I've been doing a daily review on the Verizon Galaxy GS3 on my blog BaneTech.WordPress.com which includes photos and video. My thoughts on the everyday user experience. Overall been a delightful phone with few found flaws. IMO the camera is bad and the bloatware though not much is annoying. Other than that I love the phone
very awesome phone i must say stock android wow
Excelent cellphone and incredible design, with exelent multimedia and grateful to enjoy it in the amazing screen!
This is pure Google. With an extended battery the weight of the phone is perfect for me and the phone lasts all day. I mostly use the phone to playback podcasts and it does so perfectly. The best feature IMO is the hackability, I'm running Jelly Bean right now! This phone is the best for me.
the best thing you can get samsung glaxy s3 sucks if we compare that to this phone
I just got Jelly Bean on my HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus last week. It is much improved!
Its a very good phone and it just got better with jellybean. The only thing I don't like about this phone is battery life. You need at least the 2100 mAh battery to make it last for a good amount of time
Can't talk much about call quality since my mom owns it... i don't know about the quality... but the mic is good.
The screen is awesomesauce... i can't see pixels. So what if it's pentile?
Battery is large, my mom isn't a heavy user, but it gets through over a day... so.
Design doesn't look awesomesauce... isn't bad either. It feels awesomesauce in the hand though. Screen size is great.
Exynos is compatible with all the games i've downloaded. I use Mobo vid player to play my wmvs and other stuff
I love this phones ui and os definitley I love that it has a dual core rather than a quad core because of battery life and LTE
The Nokia Lumia 900 is the best Windows Phone by far, featuring a great big screen, a simple operating system, a good camera and a good sound quality. (That part could be better).
But the phone does has one major limitation:
If you live in the North America, the phone will support 4G LTE, and you can get it on a 2-year Contract with AT&T for 99$. In Europe, the device goes up to HSPA, and I had to pay $610.27 to get it. Fortunately, I saved a little, because the full price for the non-contract phone seemed $732.57.
Overall, if you live in the U.S., you could choose this phone to replace an iPhone, which would truly work. In that case, this phone would be totally fantastic!
But if you live somewhere else, like in Europe, Asia or Africa; consider your options: If you're paying unlocked, you can get all the full functionality (including 500,000 more available apps) on the leading iPhone by paying a little more for it.
So, summing up, this phone is mostly made for American markets, but it will still preserve most of it's functionality in Europe. There's nothing wrong with the phone, except for the occasional GPS failure in some areas, but the design, the big screen, the cheaper price and the OS made me choose this instead of an iPhone.
Awesome phone for battery life, however, the screen is a little fuzzy and unclear sometimes.
I returned my Galaxy Nexus in favor of this device and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. It is an all around solid design with the only flaw being the black dots in the background of the AMOLED display. Take a massive battery, add in ICS, a dash of MotoBlur, and viola, you have one of the best smartphones on the market today.
I could do without Touch whiz but the phone is still amazing! Battery life is great! And the camera is my favorite so far.
The display is not as good as the one on the iPhone but it is decent. I wish the battery life was better. In my mind I should not have to turn off the features that I like in order to make it through the day. The phone on Verizon is good but I would except more out of the earpiece. There seems to be slight chops when I am on a call. The apps and midia is great but I did with the veizon version had google wallet availible but that is not a deal breaker. Overall it is a great phone and I am glad I switched from the iPhone for it.
Ive had this phone for 6 months and no dropped calls good noise cancelation its a really good phone
the ice cream sandwhich settles it im buying a tablet with the same system! Fast and way ez to use
Display:
The display is extreemly beautiful, blacks are really black! 720p on a 4.65 inch screen is amazing! warning: after using this device, all other screens will look terrible :)
Reception & Call Quality:
Reception could have been better, not too bad though. Call quality is pretty good even coming from a blackberry user.
Battery Life:
Battery Life isn't to write home about. Passable
The phone usually lasts me about 1.5 days on a single charge, which isnt a problem seeing that I usually charge it before i go to bed every night.
Design / Form Factor:
Man is this phone beautiful!!! wow! feels extremely great in hand. the curve display is just amazing and did I mention this thing is thin!?. However I ususally keep it my nexus in a TPU case but when i do take it out..man this thing amazes me everytime
Apps & Media Support:
C'mon its a nexus top of the line app support ofcourse. Just got jelly bean a few days after launch. Like A BAWEESEm ;)
