Conclusion from my review at PureViewClub.com
Regardless of how good the camera is ? or will be after a software update ? it?s not the main reason customers will be purchasing the Nokia Lumia 920, nor should this be the deciding factor. The Nokia Lumia 920 is a very impressive package of both hardware and software. The latter is most likely the weakest aspect of the device at this time, due to the limited number of available apps. This will of course be gone in the near future.
The new ecosystem is still young, but with a smartphone like the Nokia Lumia 920, and Windows Phone 8, it is off to an impressive start. I am still testing out the HTC Windows Phone 8X, but it seems evident that the Lumia 920 is the top of the pack.
How popular the device will be in Europe, will depend on the price. In America, both the Lumia 920 and 820 are at AT & T and extremely well priced for early adopters ? and they are even offering complimentary wireless chargers. It is hoped that such a promotion will also lure the European customers and those in other continents.
In many countries where the Nokia Lumia 920 is launched, it sold out almost immediately. Whether this is due to an unexpectedly huge popularity or limited availability is unclear. The Australian operator Telstra has reported that the pre-order numbers were overwhelming.
Recently we even learned of a number of 2.500.000 Lumia 920's being sold/pre-ordered. If that is all true it only underlines my view that Nokia finally has the hit it has dreamt of for such a long time : an exceptionally complete, stylishly designed smartphone on a new, fresh and exciting platform.
The Nokia Lumia 920 just about has it all.
Best screen I've used or seen on a phone to date, I originally bought a case for my phone but havent needed to use it because its built like a tank :)
Nokia Lumia 920 is a great smartphone. It have 8,7 MPs camera, pure motion HD+, 2000 ma battery and windows phone 8. But it poor apps and games and little bit heavy
I bought this one as upgrade to Galaxy Note and I confess that I tought it would be a cosmetic upgrade only but it was a real upgrade.
Things I liked: - The surface of the glass it is more fluid to fingers and keep less fingerprints.
- The fast response to the new stylus.
- The battery endurance.
- The overall apparence looks less cheaper than Note 1.
The only thing I don't like:
The slippery of the battery cover. I lack the grip of the previous model.
agret htc device that will hit galaxy note 2 and its gamplay incrideble
this is the best phone in the world and it suppose to be the first phone i the list
Iphone is the next blackberry meaning they make a device that worked so well that they are afraid to change it and by the time they decide to change it they will be too far behind. Iphone 5 is hardly a upgrade from the 4s and whats worse is most apps are not formatted for the 4 inch screen so you get black bars on each side rendering your screen back to 3.5 inches. Now if we want to talk about change and a true industry leader than lets talk about the note 2. With a massive beautiful display and the added bonus of the s pen we have a phone that is different than the rest. Now add a quad core processor and we have a multitasking powerhouse. Currently the note 2 is easily the number one smartphone.
The giant screen along with the s pen makes navigating apps and web browsing so much nicer!
Nokia Lumia 920 is many ways the best smartphone at this moment.
1. The best screen - 2.4x faster than Samsung S3's screen and 5.4x faster than iPhone 5's screen (tested with Lagom test). You can use its screen with gloves on. It?s the first smartphone in the world to deliver a full 60 frames-per-second (FPS) without any blurring.
2. It has 3pcs HAAC (High Amplitude Audio Capture) microphones and so the recorded audio is distortion free also at the loudest music performances and it can record also very low bass sound vs its rivals has nonHAAC mics and so the recorded audio at music concert recordings is mostly distorted and they can't capture low bass sound.
3. Nokia Lumia 920 is the first smartphone which has pentaband LTE support.
4. Nokia Lumia 920 is the first smartphone with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) system which makes it possible to get better photos in the low light and makes more stable videos.
5. It has integrated wireless charging.
I have used Lumia 920 now 3 weeks and compared it vs. iPhone 5, Samsung S3/Note II, HTC 8X, Google Nexus 4 and now I am sure it beats them all.
Hey guys, I have bought this Nokia Lumia 920 after a very long time as i was using other brands like samsung and iphone. But this time Nokia makes his Lover :) Its a fantastic phone. You can not complain about the battery as there is not a single cellphone available in the market which can give you more than a day after a normal usage. So i think its a bestest phone ever ...Nokia rocks!!! i love it ...
In last 5 years i had many smartphones - iPhone 2G, Samsung Galaxy S, iPhone 3Gs, HTC Mozart, iPhone 4 and now - iPhone 5. And I think - iPhone 5 is THE PHONE. I just love it. Its fast, with great screen, thin, looking good and stylish, has long support by the manufacturer.
Its 720p screen is superb the processor gives the phone no lag and the camera trumps even the Iphone 4s and 5, it is really underrated but just as good as the new phone of late 2012
Just come from an iphone 3GS, Can't ever see myself going back to Apple, This phone is superior in every way.
Fits in pocket no problem, Do not listen to all the negative comments about being too big, After one week of use you will never go back ! Call quality and reception is better than my last phone, So much clearer.
S-pen is fun, micro sd card is a bonus, drag and drop from pc is so much easier, Android OS is simple and has way more features you could ever use.
