I own this phone, and I love it. Its a massive phone, my last phone was a Motorola triumph from VM. I'm so gad I switched
It's basically a Galaxy S2 and a tablet in once good looking package. It has a wonderful screen that doesn't hurt your eyes, you don't have to get way too close to it to see things and best of all it looks superb while being really thin and lightweight. Only bad things about it are that it might feel a little too big once in a while, battery life is a little short and that it sometimes do actually drop a few calls, as Aaron mentioned. ;)
this thing is perfect for people who can not see the smaller display devices, also has a huge battery to go all day!
I personally love the full QWERTY keyboard. The display isn't the best and I do sometimes have problems with reception, but that may very well be the area I live in. The Dual Core processor has no problems running any apps or media types and the device still has decent battery life when used moderately.
I really want this phone. I am a phone geek, and this is one of the best. Phone dog rules.
brilliant huge display!! great big battery. great for viewing videos and watching movies. touch screen response is great
I have this device as a concession line for my job and I absolutely love it. The display is absolutely stunning, the performance is amazing, and the speed has been just what I expected. This device, along with all smartphones (aside from the RAZR MAXX) leaves a bit to be desired in the battery life department, but for a great overall experience, this is definitely a worthwhile choice.
This is just a great phone.
This phone is great, whenever I go out it gets alot of people's attention . I've actually made a couple of friends because of this phone (: it's a great conversation starter and it has an amazing screen
Even almost two years after its release, I think the Retina Display on the iPhone 4S is the best display on a smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S II series has failed to touch it display wise. However, it could have more vibrant and saturated colors like the S II. The Galaxy Nexus's display is good, but Pentile is still not that great and doesn't compare to the 4S display.
I am running this phone factory unlocked on T-Mobile's 3G network. I live in the west coast. I get great reception everywhere and have never ran into a dead zone, nor have had any dropped calls.
Battery life is better than all comparable smart phones on the market (of course excluding the iPhone 4.) This is likely because of its lack of LTE. The lack of LTE does not really bother me.
The design is the best on any phone, and the quality of the materials cannot be beat. It feels great in the hand and does not feel cheap or plastic-laden. Almost all Android handsets and Windows handsets lack the beautiful design and nice feel of the iPhone 4S.
The App Store is the best app market there is and Google Play is not even close to it in terms of the quality of the apps.
One dissatisfaction (and perhaps my only significant) is the small screen size. Sure, the one handed operation is great, but I can control a 4 screen in my hand comfortably.
Overall, it is a great phone and I will continue to carry iPhones for years to come until Android makes a revolutionary turn.
After getting this phone I would never turn back! Affordable phone with the greatest result. It can even keep up with all the top ten. Would recommend this to almost anybody. Made my transition from IOS to android easier
Great built, great display, needs more apps, everything else works great.
personally if i went onto to ios i don't think anyone could convert me back onto android unless they made a super slick phone which ticked all the right boxes then maybe i'd consider it, but no, the iphone 4s gets a great big smiley face from me :D
the hardware is where it should be and its just as good as any other top smart phone that you see.
Nothing can touch the sophistication and refinement that is the iPhone 4S. In a world where smartphones have become evermore prevalent in the mobile marketplace, packing features into a phone seems to have taken priority over the phone being used as a phone. Apple hasn't forgotten that though, and the iPhone 4S with Siri is one of the best user experiences, and the best communication tool money can buy.
Awesome phone, no lag, battery get's me thru a whole day, amoled screen is...The Bestest Ever! and sports the biggest landscape on any smartphone out (besides the Galaxy Note which is a tablet and phone) and comes preinstall with 12gb of storage (not including my 16 gb memory card for a total of 28gb). Love Love Love!
great all round phone amazing in everyday life its a little big but still good
well i think this phone isn't really a phone, it looks more like a miniature tablet, and i don't think that would fit into mine nor anyone's skinny jeans.
