Went from a Galaxy S3 to the Note II, it is everything I learned to love from the S3, but bigger.
This is a great productivity phone so if that's what's your looking for with great media content than this is the phone for you but if your strictly a gamer and you want the best graphics than go with a 1080 display like the droid dna or a phone with a tegra 3 processor ...If you want simple and easy to handle than go with the new Windows operating system and if your a snob that's cuts people off and litters on the side of the road than go with the I phone 5 os.goodluck!
Especially the the screen, not just the PPI but also excellent color accuracy and viewing angels.
Been selling cell phones for 15 plus years and this one is it!!!
I love the display on this phone and the glass back is gorgeous. I've dropped mine a few times and still no cracks or breaks. Its fast and fluid. Not to say that there aren't stutters here and there but overall its the fastest phone I've ever had. 16 GB of storage may be a downer for some but for me its not too bad. I delete a game or movie after I finish them and all of the sudden I have more room for apps and music. Who knew? All my pics and videos get uploaded to cloud storage and boom, I have enough space for another game. It's even survived hot soup to the earpiece. When I consider the demand for this phone and consider the lack of availability... I consider myself blessed to have it.
I am deaf and use my phone for text, email, Captel and the note 2 is awesome for what I need it for. Plus the pen helps me to communicate with people who can't use sign.
Enough Said!
I'm a MAC kind of girl. My desktop and laptop are both MACs, but my phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Why cause the iPhone doesn't compare to the phablet capabilities of the Note 2.
Windows phone obviously has its flaws with app selection but i am loving my lumia so much!
verry good one it is of its own its the phone you will wish to have it, use it
I switched from an HTC EVO 4G to get this phone and so far it's been great!
I've seen every video I could find on the Note 2, and there are many, but after seeing them I had an idea on how good the smartphone would be, and once I got it it exceeded my expectations. Was upset hearing they lessened the wideness of the phone as well as lessened the ppi from the original Note, and am really picky about my devices and screens especially, but when I got it I was pleasantly surprised that it was a gorgeous screen and the real estate was sufficient. As an artist I'm finding after not having been able to paint for years due to the cost of materials, that I'm not able to paint practically just like as if I used to using real paints. Good thing is I don't have to pay for paints and brushes approaching it digitally via an amazing app such as Sketchbook Pro. My under paintings look just as good or better on the Note 2 as my real paintings. I also feel like I have more control since I can fit the device in my hands as opposed to having to use an easel or table. Using the Note 2 on Verizon has been an absolute joy! I can definitely see myself being happy for 1-2 years, until of course they come out with the Note 3 which I am very excited about and looking forward to see how they will push the envelope on an already as close to perfect as you can get for a smartphone. It may take some getting used to the size for some, but I've wanted a 5+ screen on a smartphone since the Archos 5s came out, so it was something I could get used to quickly. The device is just brilliant. The only thing I wished it had was that it came in black, in the 32/64GB variants and that you could install any apps to the SD Card, but apart from that even without them it's as perfect as I could think a smartphone could be. I give it a 5 out of 5! If you have a choice between the Note 2 and DNA or other device, like many others online who actually own both would recommend, do yourself a favor and get the Note 2!
awsum phone and love flaunting it around and iam sure nobody can repent buying this phone its worth every dime it costs..and eagerly waiting for its android os upgrade :-)
they need to let us change the font and also have moving screen savers with out jail breaking it but overall best phone i like normal size phones and great battery life
Well, First of all, I consider myself a a phone-lover...seriously. I have owned all of the major platforms, but I find myself coming back to android. In more specific terms: I PRE-ORDERED THE IPHONE 5...but 4 months later, I have just traded my i5 for the NOTE II.
I am on this thing ALL DAY.. stylus and all..music, wifi, LTE, you name it, and I still have juice left over untill the next morning or afternoon! THIS THING IS A BEAST ! call quality is on par with the i5, since they both offer noise cancelling microphones. I have actually grown quite fond of the display.. I don't find the phone too big anymore, and I am quite fond of the slim profile and the metallic finish of the phone - the build quality isn't as prestigious as the i5, but I am glad it's not. Using the same materials would note only provoke a lawsuit from Apple, but it would also weigh down the phone. The Play Store is wonderful - it is more visually appealing than the IOS APP store. and no I am not a Samsung or Android Fanboy because of my specific references between apple an Samsung and the Google Play Store and App Store. I feel much better having everything seamlessly synced with my Gmail account...
ALL in ALL this phone is the best I've had...ever.
the stylus is wonderful and accurate BTW for those who are wondering... I don't want to explain too much.. people will think I am CHOOSING SIDES : )
This is the best phone that I ever used! Huge display, very fast CPU and longer battery life! I especially like the 2 GB memory!
If you want yo buy a smartphone , this is the one.
It is extremely fast, it never lugs, and it has the perfect screen. it is the best phone a have ever had.
