The screen is amazing. Battery lasted me 3 days without charging, despite the fact i use it a lot. the note 2 is extremely bulky compared to the optimus g pro's much sleeker design. Its an amazing phone that is much better than the note 2
The iphone's aluminum and glass makes it feel like all the money you spent on that phone. IOS 6 is a good but boring operating system while iOS is a beast. (Both iPhone and S4 user)
HTC Zoe and Blinkfeed are amazing, though i would hate blinkfeed but really enjoy using it, plus the design is pure excellent. Just need better battery and then the four ultra-pixel should have been an eight ultra-pixel so when you zoom pictures are still beautiful
I have seen this phone in so many places. I really want to get it.
The screen, the camera, the build overall, is amazing. I'm glad that it is #1 on most HD smartphones. It is just a beautiful phone.
the iphone 5 is a solid device so what not all the bells and whistles of android but to me it is a exceptional phone
Still lots of famous apps are still missing. And many cross-platform apps on WP8 are somehow way behind those on iOS and Android
When I was looking for a phone, I had a list of what I wanted from a phone, the main factors of my phone were to be a big screen for watching videos and browsing, plus, a large selection of apps. I knew immediately that I was going to go android, due to the small screen and (IMO) boring OS of the iPhone and the undeveloped app selection of WP8. So I had done a bit of research and had gotten down to two phones, the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One.
I had decided that I would be perfectly content with software of either phone and that deciding which phone to get would come down to the hardware. Plastic or aluminium? Took me a while to decide but eventually I had made up my mind, I was going with the Galaxy S4 and to be honest, i couldn't be happier, the OS runs very smoothly, the app selection is great and the screen is fantastic. Personally, I prefer the over-saturated colours of the S4 to the more 'natural' colours of the One. Then there is the hardware. The plastic back picks up finger marks like a there's no tomorrow, which is annoying, so after a few days i succumbed to getting a case, mainly because even though it is very sturdy, I didn't want to take any risks, so I got a case (an Otterbox Commuter if you must know) and it compliments it very well.
The S4 has done very well in terms of battery life, at the end of a day, I can get 15 hours with 15% remaining on average use. The call quality is above average but really nothing to write home about, but the good thing is that it is loud, which is a good thing.
So there you go, if you are thinking of buying an S4, you really won't be disappointed but do consider other options, in case it isn't what you expected :)
I been using nokia lumia by demand of my company just to try out how would it do in a normal life. It's hold up pretty well, I could go over a day a little bit. People who receiving the call from me tell me that I sound loud and clear. The phone might be a bit heavy but it's a tank , literally. the phone might be heavy, but there is a reason for it, at some point, I carelessly drop the phone from head height and no scratch, and bear in mind that I don't use a case. of course, if you drop it many times, it will scratch. Picture for Lumia 920 is awesome, specially in low light situation. overall , lumia, or I should said the windows phone 8 OS is stillhave one weekness that become it's enemy: Lack of apps. but the Windows apps store still growing and with just some more common use app like INSTAGRAM. wp8 and nokia can actually make this phone a blast
I love the design, camera, battery life. It is something I will use everyday
I'm 3 months into the One and still love it. It is my first smartphone. Best feature are those speakers, if only for YouTube videos and earpiece call quality. Display is breathtaking too. Only taken one pic with the camera so far :) but in a restaurant it was great. Sure, I wish it had enough megapixels for cropping, but it is sufficient for what it's designed for. Battery is not great, but has not been a problem. Would highly recommend anyone looking for a new phone give this a try in a store before just jumping on one of the competitors.
I am 6'4' in tall and for me is not a problem handle a big phone, it fits in my pocket and is really solid (I have drop it several times). The signal is really strong and never had problems hearing in crowds or in my house. Apps, specially games run very smoothly in this high-end device and is always a pleasure to type in type big screen
I have an htc one. Its great I upgraded from an iPhone 4s and its way better. I've tested IOS 7 but its not as good as android
A phablet that will the push the Galaxy Note 3 when its released to be better and I mean much better than the Galaxy Note 2.
Outstanding smartphone and in my opinion best smartphone period. Love HTC one and Galaxy 4 but iPhone 5 is my choice and its almost a year old.
There is nothing to say about this phone. This phone says everything.
i like the display and how fast it is but the battery life is horrible. i play one game for five minutes and it wastes 10 percent of the battery. it is very frustrating
Apple is the best I would never switch for a trashy android
