Apple recently launched (PRODUCT) RED versions of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, and we're going to take a look at the Plus model.

In this box is the (Product) RED iPhone that they just announced a few days ago. So now the iPhone comes in three brand new colors-- Matte Black, Jet Black, and now (Product) RED. If you don’t know what (Product) RED products are, basically red.org is an organization that donates money for research to get rid of the disease HIV and AIDS. It’s a very good reason to buy (Product) RED products. So let’s go ahead and check out the (Product) RED iPhone. But if you’re only looking to donate money to red.org, make sure to go over there to red.org and donate money where 100% of your funds will go into research in getting rid of HIV and AIDS.

So here it is-- here is the (Product) RED iPhone. It looks really, really good in person. It does have the white front. People have been kind of moody about that. To be completely honest, I think the red and the white color have a good contrast. I will say that I have seen Danny Winget’s video about the black front and the red back iPhone and I think it looks 100% better. But I honestly think that the white and red combo definitely do look really good. And then the back of this phone actually does collect some fingerprints. It’s not as matte as you think it is. In the back of my mind though, I am kind of considering this iPhone in the blue color. That would look really, really epic in my opinion. Definitely a blue iPhone for the iPhone 7S maybe, hopefully Apple, are you listening?

But anyway, the (Product) RED iPhone just looks really, really good. It has that little (Product) RED insignia right below the iPhone logo on the back. So we’ve got silver in the front and silver on the back for the Apple logo and the home button. Other than that, it’s basically just an iPhone. So if you already have an iPhone, there is no reason for you to buy a (Product) RED iPhone unless you have tons of cash and you want to have that awesome special edition status. But if you’re really just buying this to donate to the cause, then just know that there are way other ways to donate to the cause than going and buying a (Product) RED version of a product. You go to red.org and donate to them where 100% of your funds will go to that cause.

I’m not knocking on the RED iPhone. It’s a great idea. I think it’s a great idea to make sure people are aware of the problem in our world, make sure they’re aware of red as an organization. I think it does get a really cool status quo as in you do rock the RED iPhone. But anyway, if you really are buying this just to support the cause, I mean it’s great but you could just go to red.org and donate.

Now if you don’t have an iPhone 7 and you really do want to buy an iPhone 7, then buying the iPhone 7 RED edition is not going to cost you any extra and you do get that awesome status quo of having a red iPhone.

So should you buy a (Product) RED iPhone? Well if you don’t want an iPhone and you want an iPhone, yeah. But if you have an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus and you want a RED iPhone, then don’t do that. It doesn’t make any sense because you’re going to have to buy an entirely new phone and if you just really want to support the cause of it, then go to red.org. But if you really just want an iPhone, then I’m not going to be the one to stop you in buying that. You can sell your current iPhone and spend more money in buying the RED iPhone. It doesn’t make any sense.

This kind of sounds like a rant video and it really isn’t supposed to be a rant video. This is just supposed to be-- you know if you really just want to support the cause, then go to red.org. It’s as simple as that. You can donate money there and you can know that 100% of the funds that you donate to are going directly to that organization and not to actually building this iPhone.

So anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this video. I’m not really gonna do anymore content about the RED iPhone. There are plenty of people on the internet that have already done that. I’m sure there’s plenty of other videos about the RED iPhone but really it’s the iPhone. You’ve already seen it and seen our reviews. You know what our opinions are about the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. This is no different from that just in a different shade of color.
