The Pixel 4 XL is a solid upgrade over last year's Pixel 3 XL, bringing a superior Face Unlock method, beautiful notch-less display, and larger battery. While the Pixel 4 XL would make for a great phone, it's not a device we can recommend for those on a tight budget since there are several other cheaper devices on the market with similar features. If you want the best that Google offers, hold off until this phone goes on sale during the holidays.
