After first making its debut at MWC back in February, the Alcatel 3V is now making its way to the U.S.
Alcatel today confirmed that the 3V is launching in the U.S. next week. It'll be available from Amazon for $149.99, followed by launches at Best Buy and Walmart stores in the following weeks.
The Alcatel 3V is an unlocked device that works on GSM networks. It runs Android 8.0 Oreo on a 6-inch 2160x1080 display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The 3V has a MediaTek MT8735A at its heart along with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and a microSD card slot.
Other notable features of the Alcatel 3V include a dual rear camera setup with 12MP main camera and 2MP depth camera that'll let you refocus shots after they're taken, a 5MP front-facing camera, a 3000mAh battery, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Alcatel has thrown in a fingerprint reader and facial recognition tech for added security.
Alcatel has crammed some high-end features into its affordabl 3V, including a big 2K display and dual rear camera setup, which could help it to stand out from other, similarly priced phones. What do you think of the Alcatel 3V?
