Apple took some time off from releasing iOS 11.2 betas over the Thanksgiving holiday, but today the company is back at it with a new beta release.
iOS 11.2 beta 5 is now available for registered developers. The update can be downloaded by going into Settings > General > Software Update on your iOS device or by going to Apple's Developer Center on the web.
If past betas are any indication, public testers in the Apple Beta Software Program should see iOS 11.2 beta 5 in the next day or two. Apple hasn't said when iOS 11.2 will be released to the public.
The update to iOS 11.2 brings new features like peer-to-peer payments with Apple Pay Cash and improvements like faster 7.5W wireless charging for the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. There are lots of smaller improvements, too, like a fix for a Calculator app bug that would ignore some button inputs if they were entered rapidly.
