It looks like Super Mario Run has arrived on Android a bit early.
Super Mario Run is now available from the Play Store. The game was originally supposed to launch on March 23, but Nintendo has confirmed that it decided to launch the game a little early.
The game is largely similar to the iOS version that launched late last year. It’s free to start, but after you finish the first four levels, you’ll have to pay $9.99 to continue. The app contains three modes: World Tour is the main game and has you collecting sets of colored coins in each level that get progressively more difficult to find; Toad Rally, which tasks you with completing “stylish moves” and getting a higher score than your friends; and Kingdom Builder, which lets you decorate your own little kingdom however you’d like.
One other detail worth mentioning is that this is version 2.0.0 of Super Mario Run, which just released on iOS today. It includes new playable characters, adjustments to the ease of play, and other improvements.
If you’re finally ready to see what Super Mario Run is all about, hit up the Play Store and get to downloading!
