Now that we’ve entered 2015 and the Galaxy S6 is likely just a couple of months away, the rumors surrounding Samsung’s next flagship Android phone are heating up.

According to Korean publication The Chosun Ilbo, Samsung is planning to reveal the Galaxy S6 at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which kicks off on March 2. No other details on the device’s launch were given.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S5 in Barcelona last year, which was a big change from the Galaxy S 4 launch event that was held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Considering that the GS5 was shown at MWC, it’s certainly possible that the Galaxy S6 could get the same treatment. Plus, an MWC launch for the GS6 would let Samsung try to steal some of the thunder from HTC’s flagship announcement.

In other Galaxy S6 news, sources speaking to Bloomberg claim that Samsung will use its own Exynos processors inside the Galaxy S6 rather than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 810. The tipsters claim that the Snapdragon 810 overheated in Samsung’s testing.
