Riding the wave of success from the RAZR, PEBL, and SLVR, Motorola's current thin line of phones, they have announced to go even thinner in 2007. The new line will be called the SCPL, pronounced "scalpel".
With specific details remaining a secret for now, we do know the SCPL is expected to have five features that will stand out from rival phones according to Ron Garriques, head of Motorola's largest cellular phone division.
Considering that Motorola expects that the current ultra thin models will sell anywhere from 300 to 500 million phones during it's production, we can anticipate another successful line with the SCPL next year.
