Aaron does a dogfight battle between the LG Optimus 4X HD and GSM Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Announced at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Optimus 4X HD was announced at Mobile World Congress earlier in the year and packs a 1.5 GHz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 CPU, 4.7-inch IPS HD (720p) display, 8-megapixel shooter with 1080p HD recording, a 2,150 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 with LG's custom user interface. Samsung's Galaxy Nexus is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor and offers a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD display with PenTile, 5-megapixel shooter with 1080p recording, a 1,750 mAh battery, and Android 4.1, known as Jelly Bean.
They're both spec'd well, though the Optimus 4X HD brings a quad-core processor to the table. That said, the Galaxy Nexus is only $349, while the Optimus comes in at just under $600 through online retailers. Which one is the best all-around deal? Part 2 of 2.
