Not quite a phone, not quite a tablet; the Samsung Galaxy Note is what we call a hybrid "phablet" device, and it's coming to AT&T later in the year with 4G LTE connectivity. Announced this morning at CES 2012 in Las Vegas, specifications include a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon CPU, 5.3-inch Super AMOLED HD display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, Android 2.3.6 with TouchWiz 4.0, and a 2,500 mAh battery to handle the large display. It's going to be too large for a lot of people, but for others, it could be the perfect bridge between laptop and phone.
