Google Now’s bag of tricks is growing once again, this time with a feature that ought to please folks that are often up in the air.
If you use Google Flights to search for flights, a Google Now card will appear in your feed to alert you when the price of the flight that you’re interested in changes. As you can see in the screenshots above, the cost of the round trip flight dropped $12.
Google Now already shows your flight information when you’ve got travel plans booked, so this new flight price monitoring looks like another solid addition for frequent travelers. Unfortunately, it appears that the feature only works with Google Flights for now and not with other travel sites. If airplane is your preferred method of travel, be sure to keep an eye out for this flight pricing card in your Google Now feed.
