Thanks to an image that leaked out last month, I'd say that we can pretty safely assume that AT&T will offer the new HTC One at some point in the future. Just in case you needed a little more evidence, though, AT&T is happy to oblige.
AT&T's website is now home to a sweepstakes page with a teaser that reads "We have a secret. We're about to launch an amazing new HTC device." Accompanying the text is an image of an unbranded phone that looks an awful lot like the new HTC One. AT&T says that it's giving away 5 of these mystery devices every day from March 21 through March 25, and while it doesn't reveal any information about the phone or its identity, the rules page for the contest lists the full retail price of this "AT&T HTC next generation Android device" as $639.99.
AT&T and HTC have been pretty close pals in the past, coming together to release AT&T-exclusive devices like the Aria, Status and First. AT&T was also the only U.S. carrier to offer the 64GB version of the HTC One. Taking into consideration the history that these two companies have, it's no surprise to see that AT&T will offer the new HTC One. Now we just need to wait for HTC to announce its new One on March 25 and then for AT&T to reveal when it'll begin selling the thing.
