Looks like this is a good weekend for BlackBerry fans. Just a day after several new photos showing both the BlackBerry 10 N-Series and L-Series devices in the wild made their way online, an entry for what appears to be a BlackBerry 10 handset has appeared on the FCC's website. The filing is for a mysterious BlackBerry-branded device with the model number RFF91LW, and the software included on several of the samples tested by the FCC are listed with software that's version "10.0.9.299" or "10.0.9.728." Also packed into the RFF91LW is support for AT&T's preferred flavors of 3G (WCDMA bands 2 and 5) and LTE (bands 4 and 17).
There's not much information in the FCC listing about exactly which BlackBerry device this is, but considering the slab look that the outline above has, it's certainly possible that we're looking at the L-Series/Z10 that's leaked over and over and over (and over) in recent months. RIM has said that the first BlackBerry 10 phone on the market will be a full-touch unit, and it's expected that that'll be the L-Series. While it's still a mystery as to when that launch will actually happen, the BlackBerry 10 launch event is just one month away, so that's one mystery that won't stay that way for long.
