It's certainly been a while since we've heard anything from the Motorola XPRT on Sprint, but the portrait QWERTY phone is back in the news today thanks to the release of an update for it. Sprint has updated its support page for the XPRT, revealing an update that'll bump the device up to Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Fixes:
That's a fairly sizable list of fixes, and while Gingerbread isn't the latest version of Android, getting updated to it is certainly better than being stuck on Android 2.2 Froyo forever. If you're rocking an XPRT on Sprint and haven't yet received this update, you can check for it manually by going into Menu > Settings > About phone > System Updates > Update Motorola Firmware.
