The QHD Pentile Oled Display is beautiful when it comes to color reproduction, but pixelation is more than annoying even when using the stock applications that feature a blurry blue background. The radio on this phone is amazing, even at two bars I was able to get 13 up and 13 down on Speed Test. Call quality is also relatively high however the earpiece could be louder. The outer speaker is amazingly clear and loud. This phones battery is what should be in every modern smartphone and has given me a break from the constant need of usb cords. I average from 12 hours to 18 hours of battery life on any given day and I’m more than a heavy user. The design is beautiful from the dark metallic paints to the unique kevlar print on the back of the handset and thankfully plastic free. It has a nice weight and its' form differentiates it from the crowd of rounded corners. The worst part of this phone is Verizon bloatware, even though you can hide it (Thank you Verizon) apps like VZ Navigator sometimes pop up in the task killer. The phone is great but the real reason I purchased the Motorola Razr over the Galaxy Nexus is because of its better use of Android. The Nexus may have the newest Android software, but it’s Motorola's unique use of Android that nabbed $300 dollars from my wallet. The most underrated use of this phone is its’ one of a kind apps, docks and accessories. The HD dock that lets me play stable 1080p Netflix on my TV and with use of Motorola's special remote that lets me operate the phone from afar while answering any incoming calls. The Car dock that in combination with the Smart Actions application automatically goes Tom Tom and turns my GPS on as soon as I place it in the dock. The Lapdock 500 which has changed the way I work and literally replaced my laptop with cool features like onboard storage, front facing camera, a full size keyboard and Motocast. Finally the MotoActv which lets me stop fiddling with something in my pocket and lets me run. I can’t wait to see what improved features come out of 4.0 but I know I don’t have any regrets buying this beast of technology.
