The Nokia Lumia 900 tops the People's Choice Chart in PhoneDog Media's Official Smartphone Rankings. Is this the beginning of a turnaround for Nokia and Windows Phone devices in the U.S. market?
MT. PLEASANT, SC - PhoneDog Media’s Official Smartphone Rankings™ (OSR) continues to set the standard for ranking the top smartphones with eight additions to the rankings last week. In an unexpected turn of events, the Nokia Lumia 900 ousted the Samsung Galaxy Note for the #1 position in the People’s Choice Chart, ending the Galaxy Note’s four-week dominance. The iPhone 4S remained in the #1 position on the Mobile Tech Experts Chart.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Note and the iPhone 4S fell one position to #2 and #4, respectively, on the People’s Choice Chart. The HTC One X (global) moved up to #3 and at position #5, the Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE re-entered the top five. On the Mobile Tech Experts Chart, the Nokia Lumia 900 took the #2 spot with 28 points, dropping the HTC One X (global) with 27 points to #3. The Samsung Galaxy Note also fell one position to #4. And the HTC One S took position #5, beating the Samsung Galaxy Nexus LTE by one point and knocking it from the top five.
