Take note, AT&T customers: it was just announced that the HTC One X will be making its way to AT&T on May 6th for $199.99 with a two-year contract. Folks that would like to guarantee themselves a One X on launch day will be able to do just that by pre-ordering the 4G LTE-enabled handset starting April 22nd, aka this Sunday.
AT&T's version of the One X will feature many of the same features as the global model, including a 4.7-inch 1280x720 display and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich beneath HTC's Sense 4 UI. Two of areas where the AT&T model will differ, though, are the processor and connectivity: the AT&T One X will feature a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor instead of the quad-core Tegra 3 chip found in the international variant, and it'll also pack 4G LTE support. Overall the One X looks like it'll make for a nice addition to AT&T's lineup, and its $200 on-contract price tag could make it tough to resist to anyone in the market for a new high-end Android smartphone.
