Gigantic Samsung!!!! By sandeep.singh, posted: Mar 14
For the first few words, I would say that I had never even thought for a once to own such a massive device for my personal usage. My Samsung galaxy s2 was enough to cater for all my geeky needs. But on someone's recommendations, I chose Apple iPhone 4s. That decision was only to please that person as he was arguing with me for years about the better OS being iOS or Android, So I gave a try and opted for the first time an Apple device. Soon the initial craze vanished and only after 15 days of usage, I started missing openness of Android. I was feeling like caged in bars of Apple inc. So i decided to revert back to SGSII, but according to my good old friend(A local Smartphone dealer), it would be against one's legacy to return to older devices, so he recommended me to go for Galaxy note (International version, as Indian operators do not believe on contracts) and I can swear on anything I don't miss my Galaxy S2.
This phone works like charm and I've even stopped using my vaio for browsing through my media and HD movies. This has become my media device more than a smartphone. Although I was never a fan of mobile gaming but some efforts made by google(play store offers) made me try them at a discounted price and big screen makes everything feel like BIGGER!!!!(even angry birds seems great to my brother again). I disagree with some people on internet, who say that it grabs unnecessary attention as Indian people don't even care about big or small cell phones(Expensive watches, bikes, cars and shoes are pieces of interest here). So, all in all, I have no regret of having this awesome device till something else comes better than this. Towards the end, I'll say that at least once a person needs to own this device and feel its power and a biggest display on a mobile phone, only then the illusions created by some launchers (claiming to be OS) will be demystified and one can feel the true feeling of freedom on his own device (Not controlled by some idiot sitting on an aluminium computer). I hope you'll like this review.
