We know that Samsung will be bringing a new tablet to Barcelona and MWC next month and that it'll likely be the follow-up to the Galaxy Tab, but there's little known about the device outside of that. A new video claims to have all of the details on the Tab 2, although the legitimacy of the clip has been called into question. Rumored specs for Sammy's new Tab include Gingerbread (with an upgrade to Honeycomb planned), a 7-inch display that could be either LCD or Super AMOLED, 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video capture, 3 megapixel front-facing cam, 64GB of internal storage, and 1GB RAM. You can check out the full video below and judge whether or not you think it's the real deal.
The video has an unfinished feel to it which, coupled with some unbelievable rumored specs (like a 2048x1200 resolution), leads many to believe that it's a fake. I got the same feeling after watching the "teaser," but even if it is fake, it gives us a chance to speculate exactly what specs the real Galaxy Tab 2 will sport. Expect the 7-inch display from the OG Tab to stick around, a dual-core processor (we've heard Orion), and hopefully some Honeycomb action, too. What kind of specs would you like to see in Samsung's next Tab?
