So this is kind of perplexing: On the same day Nokia launches their new flagship model, the $800 N96, they also launch the $475-ish 6220 classic, which might actually have a better camera than the N96.  Huh?

The 6220 packs a 5MP auto-focus camera featuring Carl Zeiss optics and a Xenon flash, which (on paper) bests the Xenon-less 5MP N96, not to mention the 3.2MP N78, which was also announced today at a price of somewhere around $500 US (Nokia's list prices are in Euros - I'm listing the USD conversions here).

What may be the best deal in Nokia's high-end lineup also features AGPS with photo geotagging and Nokia Maps 2.0, TV-out, FM radio with RDS, and the Series 60 platform.  The handset also features quadband GSM/EDGE and HSDPA 900/2100 connectivity.  While the 6220 lacks the N96's hefty 16GB of internal memory, it does support microSD expansion.
