There has been a lot of speculation about what will be going on at T-Mobile stores on June 19th, and it seems that TmoNews may finally have concrete information. After learning that stores will be opening early on the 19th and that the event "...WILL BE BIG," TmoNews has received images of what appears to be a commercial script for an ad that will air before June 19th. The script has an employee going through the store and saying that each phone is free, including both the Garminfone and the MyTouch 3G Slide. At the end of the script, it says that if you switch to a family plan, every phone in the store is free. If true, this promotion, together with T-Mobile's offer to add new lines to a family plan for $5, could bring a ton of new customers to the carrier. There is a common belief that one of the biggest things that determine what phone a person decides to buy is the initial price; if all its phones were free, T-Mobile could sell a ton of devices, including the typically more expensive smartphones. There's not much more information to go on at this point, but June 19th isn't far away, so we're sure that more will be revealed soon. Would you switch to T-Mobile if the device you've had your eye on was suddenly free?
