As much as I love the rumor mill, it's a bit challenging to rely on for solid news. For those that were eagerly awaiting webOS 1.4, February 15th came and went without an update. Like anything in the mill, the latest rumor has the update pegged for a February 25th launch. Palm did say that the OS update would come prior to March, so while the date is complete speculation, it makes sense.
If the whispers are to be believed, webOS 1.4 will feature Flash 10.1, speed improvements, battery life modifications (for the better, hopefully), video recording and editing, additional phonebook tweaks, calendar improvements, and messaging enhancements. Sounds like a winner to me, and given the poor battery life on the webOS devices, it's something that could come in handy for road warriors and consumers alike.
