HMD Global is making a big push for its Nokia phones in the U.S. One month after teaming up with Verizon to release the Nokia 8 V 5G UW, HMD Global has launched an online store where consumers can buy Nokia phones direct.
The new Nokia store offers a range of phones for U.S. shoppers. That includes the flagship Nokia 8.3 5G, which is currently on sale for $100 off its normal price and includes a clear case and a Grip and Stand accessory with your purchase.
If you're looking for something more affordable, the Nokia 3.4 is available with a 6.39-inch display and triple rear cameras for $179.99. There's also the Nokia 2.4, which is equipped with a 6.5-inch screen, dual rear cameras, and the pure Android One software, all for $139.99. And for something ultra-cheap, the Nokia 1.3 is available for just $99.99.
There are never any shipping costs for phones you buy from this Nokia store, and orders are typically shipped within two days.
Nokia's new online store also includes some devices that aren't actually available for purchase direct from HMD, but there is information about each model as well as links to help you buy those phones from third-parties like carriers as well as Amazon and Best Buy.
While most U.S. consumers buy their phones through their carriers, some folks prefer to buy devices direct from the manufacturer. Some of the benefits of this buying method are that the phones are typically factory unlocked and you get peace of mind knowing you're buying a device with a genuine warranty.
HMD's Nokia phones have become known for running largely untouched versions of Android and having great update support, with many devices getting two years of guaranteed OS updates and three years of monthly security updates. And so it's great to see HMD launch an online store to make it super easy for U.S. consumers interested in a Nokia phone to buy direct.
