We've already got big events from LG, Google, and Microsoft in October, and now we can add Samsung to the list, too.

Samsung has announced a Galaxy event for October 11, 2018. Details on what Samsung is planning to introduce are light, with the company's invitation saying "4x fun". Samsung does say that it'll debut a new Galaxy device that's "bringing more ways to express yourself than ever before", but other than that the company is tight-lipped.

So what might Samsung be planning to intro at this event? That's kind of a mystery. We've already got the Galaxy S9, S9+, and Note 9 flagships for the year, and Samsung has recently revealed high-end and affordable tablets, too. The long-awaited foldable smartphone is one possibility, but the invitation doesn't really seem to give off the vibe that you'd expect for an event focused on that device.
