Wouldn't wish Sprint on my worst enemy

I've been with Sprint for a little over a year now. I fell into the trap when they were offering big buyouts after Verizon ended the grandfathering of unlimited data customers a while back. I had been with VZ for a decade + and couldn't justify spending $120 some odd dollars a month for a phone I used for limited purposes. So yes. I switched. It didn't take me long to realize you get what you pay for. Mind you, I live in the most densely populated region in the country. There are cell towers and amplifiers all over. I see at least 5 on my 3 mile trip to work every day. I CANNOT make a call in my apartment. I can see the Empire State Building from my living room. I cannot make a call at my office. I can see the length of Manhattan, from the Battery to the Upper East side, from there. If I am lucky to get a call to go through, I'm willing to bet that it will drop within 90 seconds. In fact, I'll bet you the cost of my much cheaper monthly bill. The data? Slow. Unreliable. Poorly calculated even. My data usage / habits have not changed a bit since I left Verizon. I never went over 6-7 Gig a month in the past. Now, Sprint's "unlimited" data plan, which isn't *really* unlimited, tells me I'm going well over 12. Consider their unlimited plan. Based on my package, I get 10 Gig a month at 4G speeds, after which it drops down to a much lower bandwidth. I find myself at that 10 Gig threshold halfway through my billing cycle. Like I said, my habits have not changed one bit. I would not wish this service on my worst enemy and I mean that. This company and their service is criminal. Do not fall for the ads. Do not fall for the price. Stay away from them if you at all want a phone that you can use. They should be paying me for being a customer. Period.

The worst ever

I went to a local sprint store to pay off the leases that I had spent over 1200 dollars to do so and was told that it is a quick phone call to get my phone unlocked. (SURE IT IS) As it turns out I spent 2 hours over the course of 2 days spoke to 7 different people who could not help. To top it all off it is still going to be 24-48 hours until this is done absolute joke stay away from sprint stores and services they don't have a clue as to what they are doing (Switching to AT&T)

I've been a sprint customer for many years with 4 lines attached to m account. I had a 3 year old iphone 6+ which was giving me grief for about 3 months. I went to a non-corporate store and they told me that I could no longer purchase a phone outright. They gave me 50% off a new iphone 7+ with a $15 lease on the phone over 18 months.. I then went home. powered up my phone and started with multiple problems. i called the store, visited the store on several occasions and even went to apple to see if they could solve my issues. No one was able to fix the problems, so I went back to the sprint store and they told me that it was 2 days out of warranty. At that time, I asked what deals were available for my daughter and suprisingly she could buy the iphone 8 for $250 with no contract.. I then asked, why can't I have that same deal? They said, well you just upgraded. Then I said, my phone is jacked and I want the same deals my daughter has and low and behold, it was on my account, but sprint would not honor it. I've been to Pakistan, India and the Phillipines to get this issue resolved to no avail. I'm done with Sprint....the worst,,,,,,

first I'm not at all happy with the service, I was told many things about there coverage and a lot of it was not true such as were my coverage area was especially when I made my self perfectly clear were I needed it to work and that it important that I needed the internet and phone service for work and I was told that my bill would go down and it hasn't so all them commercials you see saying there within 1percent of all the other guys that's bull and the only time I have internet is when I'm in town close to home so this message goes out to everyone thinking about switching to sprint it would be a big mistake.i can't wait until this so called lease is up witch is also another bull ? Lie and I when I tried getting out of it I was told it would cost me 600 bucks to get out of the lease witch is just another way to say contract, so don't do it .

Sprint keeps charging me for a lease that is over months ago, And when I call And go through the long miserable system I get hanged up after 200 times asking my phone number and my name, I will switch today,

Sprint is the worst company in my opinion they lie to get your business me and my wife were suckered into this horrible company with fictitious information we trusted what was said to us by Sprint sale members and the service is horrible no signal in a lot of the area here in South Florida. They spent so much money on there commercial down grading other companies but in reality Sprint is garbage from sale,customer service and the service is garbage I will never ever recommend this company to anyone please Stay away if you don't wanna get scammed by the way you can't even use your internet will you talking on the phone what type of nonsense is that

I have been a loyal sprint costumer for over 10 years...unfortunately this past year has been terrible and I am unfortunately shopping for new providers. Here are some of my issues- I'd miss test messages while on phone calls, I can hear the person I was talking to , but they can't hear me, I drop calls ( Live in CLeveland, Ohio), and most recently when i attempted to submit my first insurance claim in the 10 + years Ive been with Sprint, I was told that my deductible was $200.00- When i agreed to insurance, I WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE $50.00 for a replacement phone if anything happened. I was never informed of this change in price, which I'd NEVER pay. Every time i call costumer service it's over an hour to usually get no where. I am always told that notes were made to my account and mysteriously when I call again, nothing is there. I have wasted too many hours trying to fix a service I pay too much for. If youre thinking of switching to Sprint or start with them- think again.

Sprint: overbilled month after month

DO NOT SIGN up for SPRINT!!!! We joined Sprint in January this year and have had nothing but problems with billing. We were supposed to get a buy one, get one free phone. We purchased two phones and were therefore to get two phones for free. We are continuing to get billed monthly for these "free phones". Additionally, we were promised a $90/month service with $20 off the $110/month regular unlimited charge which turned out to be wrong. The monthly charge is $100 - the salesperson apparently had no clue what he was doing. I have called every month and get promises of call backs and solutions yet month after month nothing happens, no callbacks and I get overbilled once again. I am fed up and pissed off. I have spent hours on the phone, sometimes getting dropped after waiting for the service personnel to review our plan (which itself takes an hour+). What a poorly run company top to bottom. Do not get SPRINT. The service is terrible and btw - so is the reception.

Took my Verizon phone to Preston at the Taylor street shop in Portland. Preston ported the number sold us a sprint phone said we would get a 349.00 visa in the mail for the Verizon phone. 09/23/2017 still know visa but they have our phone and no one at sprint can help. They totally stole our phone and know money. Just as shady as all phone companies out there.

I have wasted so much money being with this company. This phone company has the worst internet service ever. I pay for Internet and it barely works or it's really slow. Half of the time I have to connect to wifi just to get my internet to work, how pathetic is that. Customer service is horrible, my bill is very high. You go into a store to get your phone looked at and the techs act like they don't know what there doing. I will finally be switching to a different company cause sprint is such a big waste !
