Google Pixel 4a 5G getting its first price drop today

Interested in a new Pixel but want something a bit cheaper than the flagship Pixel 5? There's a new deal on the Pixel 4a 5G that you should check out.

The Google Pixel 4a 5G is on sale at Amazon today, getting its first price drop since the launch in October. Here are the details of the limited time deal:

This Pixel 4a 5G is sold unlocked and in a Just Black color, exactly like you'd get if you bought from the Google Store. It supports 5G on AT&T and T-Mobile, too, and while it does not work with Verizon's mmWave-based 5G Ultra Wideband network, it does support Verizon's 5G Nationwide coverage.

While the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 share many specs, including the same dual 12MP main and 16MP ultrawide rear cameras and a Snapdragon 765G processor, there are a few reasons why someone might prefer the Pixel 4a 5G over the Pixel 5. As mentioned before, the Pixel 4a 5G is a good deal cheaper than the Pixel 5, and the 4a 5G also comes with a larger 6.2-inch display and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
