Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra specs leak, including 6.8-inch display and 108MP camera

One week ago we got our first look at the new design of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Now some specs of the upcoming flagship have leaked, too.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra is expected to have a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED display, which would make it slightly smaller than the S20 Ultra's 6.9-inch screen. 91mobiles and Ishan Agarwal also say that the S21 Ultra's screen will have a high refresh rate, but it's unknown if it'll be a 144Hz or 120Hz display.

The aforementioned leaked renders of the Galaxy S21 Ultra showed a quad rear camera setup, and today's leak says that it'll include a 108MP main camera. It's expected that Samsung will opt for a 40MP selfie camera on the front of the S21 Ultra. And powering the whole phone is said to be a 5000mAh battery, the same size that's in the S20 Ultra.

Today's report also mentions that the S21 Ultra will carry the model number SM-G998U.

Because the Galaxy S21 Ultra will likely be the top-end model of Samsung's Galaxy S flagship lineup for 2021, we can make some educated guesses about some of the other features it'll have. We can likely expect a high-end Snapdragon 800-series processor inside, like a Snapdragon 875, and Samsung will probably use at least 12GB of RAM since that's the base amount that the Galaxy S20 Ultra came with.

Rumors say Samsung will announce the Galaxy S21 series in January next year, a month earlier than recent Galaxy S flagships.
