Amazon begins Prime Day sales early with deep discounts on Echo and Fire devices

Prime Day 2020 sales may not officially begin until tomorrow, but Amazon just couldn't wait to roll out deals on its own devices.

Amazon is now offering some deep discounts on its Echo and Fire devices. For example, with the recent launch of a new Echo Dot, you can get the previous generation model for more than 60% off its regular price, making it super cheap to get your first smart speaker or outfit every room in your house with Dots.

One thing to note is that all of these deals are available exclusively to Amazon Prime members. The good news is that if you aren't a Prime member, you can sign up for a free trial now and get access to all the discounts.

There are quite a few Fire TV Edition Smart TVs on sale today, too, including models from Toshiba and Insignia in various sizes. These TVs come with Amazon's Fire TV smarts built-in, making it easier to watch streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+.
