For iPhone owners, Google Maps is getting better in their car and on their wrist.
Google Maps now supports Apple's CarPlay Dashboard feature. With it, you can see your Google Maps turn-by-turn navigation while also being able to control your music or audiobooks as well as check your calendar, all in a single split-screen CarPlay view.
Also new is Google Maps on the Apple Watch. The Google Maps app for Apple Watch will show your estimated arrival time plus step-by-step directions for places you've saved like Home or Work.
You can also start navigating to a different destination on your iPhone and then pick up the directions on your Apple Watch.
Google Maps support in CarPlay Dashboard is now available, and the Apple Watch app will begin rolling out around the world in the coming weeks.
