Google Stadia adds 1440p resolution option in Chrome

Stadia Pro players, you've now got another resolution option when you play in Chrome.

Google has added a new 1440p resolution choice for Stadia in the Chrome browser, giving you a higher-res option over 1080p if you've got a monitor with a resolution between 1440p and 4K.

To get this 1440p resolution, you'll need to meet the requirements for playing at 4K. That includes a connection speed of 35Mbps or greater and a computer with VP9 hardware decoding. You'll also need a Stadia Pro subscription.

It's nice to have another resolution option when you're playing Stadia on your computer. If you've got a monitor with a resolution between 1440p and 4K, you can now utilize the 1440p option and consume a little less data without having to step all the way down from 4K resolution to 1080p.
