Samsung will bring Galaxy S20 features to S10 and Note 10 in the US starting tomorrow

Samsung announced an update last week that'll bring several features of the Galaxy S20 phones to S10 and Note 10 models, and now we've got more info on the US rollout of that update.

Samsung says that its new update will begin rolling out in the US on April 3rd. Exact timing wil vary depending device model and carrier.

This update brings several notable new features to the Galaxy S10 and Note 10 phones. These include low-light camera improvements like Night Hyperlapse for both the S10 and Note 10 plus an improved Night Mode for the S10.

Also included is Single Take, a feature that uses multiple lenses and modes like ultra wide, telephoto, and slow-mo, and then uses AI to recommend the best one to you. Samsung is giving the S10 and Note 10 a new feature called My Filters, too, that'll let you choose one of your images and then create a filter from it using colors and styles you like.

The new Pro Video mode will give you more control when recording video, letting you change settings like ISO, shutter speed, and exposure level. And you'll also be able to switch between the front and rear cameras while recording video.

Samsung's Gallery app is getting improved in this update as well. Clear View will automatically group together similar photos of the same subject to help you organize your gallery, and with Quick Crop, you can just zoom in on a photo in your Gallery app to quickly crop it to any size.

Quick Share is another new feature packed into this update. With it, you can see which of your contacts are nearby and then tap to send photos, videos, and large files to multiple people at once.

Finally, Music Share will let you extend your paired Bluetooth connection to another device. For example, if you're listening to music on your car stereo over Bluetooth, you can extend your connection to another person's phone rather than disconnecting your device and connecting theirs.
