Galaxy Z Flip leak gives us our best look yet at Samsung's next foldable

To date, the only images of the Galaxy Z Flip that we've had are a few fuzzy hands-on photos. That's changing today.

Some high-quality images of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip have leaked out. These official-looking renders obtained by WinFuture give us our best look yet at Samsung's next foldable, showing the device in a variety of positions.

Today's report also backs up some spec details that've leaked out previously. The Galaxy Z Flip is expected to have a 6.7-inch 2636x1080 main display with an Infinity O hole-punch that'll hold a 10MP camera. The screen will be covered in Ultra Thin Glass that should be more durable than the plastic covering on the Galaxy Fold.

It's also said that the Galaxy Z Flip will have a 1.06-inch 300x116 external display that'll show you the time, notifications, and other info without requiring you to open the main screen.

Inside the upcoming foldable is a Snapdragon 855+ processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, and unlike most other Samsung flagships, it's said that the Galaxy Z Flip will not have a microSD slot. A 3300mAh battery is said to be powering the Galaxy Z Flip, and there's reportedly USB-C-based wired charging and Qi-based wireless charging included.

Rounding out the features of the Galaxy Z Flip, we've got a dual 12MP camera setup with a main f/1.8 cam and a f/2.2 ultra wide angle camera with 123-degree field of view. There's also a fingerprint reader mounted on the phone's side.

Samsung is expected to officially announce the Galaxy Z Flip at its event on February 11th and it could launch as soon as February 14th. Pricing is expected to come in at around $1400.
