OnePlus 7T getting OxygenOS 10.0.7 update with camera improvements, security patches

A new OnePlus 7T update is here.

OnePlus is now pushing OxygenOS 10.0.7 to the OnePlus 7T. Included in the update is improved speed when launching some apps, optimized RAM management, and improved photo quality. The November 2019 Android security patches are in there, too.

Here's the full changelog for the update:

System

  • Improved the launching speed of some apps
  • Optimized the RAM Management
  • Optimized the black and white screen issues with some apps
  • Improved system stability and general bug fixes
  • Updated Android security patch to 2019.11

Camera

  • Improved the photo quality

Lots of folks rely on their smartphone as their main camera, so it's nice to see improved photo quality included in this update. Better system stability and general bug fixes ought to help keep your OP7T running more smoothly, and the updated security patches will help to keep all your personal data safe.

Some OnePlus 7T owners say that the update is appearing as OxygenOS 10.3.0 rather than 10.0.7. OnePlus is aware of the issue and has passed it on to the OxygenOS team, and the company says it'll share more info as soon as possible.

Only a small number of OnePlus 7T owners will get this new update today. This way, OnePlus can verify that everything's working as it should before pushing the update out to all users. A broader rollout is expected to begin in a few days.
